Here at Groove Odyssey records the excitement is overflowing as we unleash the first single taken from our very own Bobby & Steve’s forthcoming debut artist album.

Featuring Chicago’s finest Byron Stingily entitled ‘They Can’t Understand It’ this dance floor gem rocks with a deep vocal message that also lifts you with extreme joy.

Byron is considered an original House Music Artist, known for his soaring falsetto voice. As the lead singer of the group Ten City he scored international success with “That’s the Way Love Is” reaching number 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play charts and the U.K.  national top ten charts as well as other territories. Ten City’s first album Foundation is certified Gold and Silver around the world, and is considered the first album to attain international success for House Music. 

Bobby & Steve first met Byron when Ten City performed at their legendary Garage City night back in 1992. They have always admired him as a 
singer and songwriter, so it was an honour to collaborate with him and have him on the label.

With the track already receiving massive support from the likes of Louie Vega and Paul Trouble Anderson, and Louie acknowledging it as a future classic in the making, we believe it’s got all the right ingredients.  

Bobby & Steve’s album will be out in July and features some amazing artists including,
Jean Carne, Leroy Burgess, Stephanie Cooke, Duane Harden, Jon Pierce and Sheree Hicks.

I've always loved Fleetwood Mac and "Dreams" is not only one of my Fav's from them, its just so soulful and completely  relevant even today some 41 years later. It was 1980 in Detroit Michigan where I first fell in Love with this Music. I was 13 years old and the Music of Choice for Me and my Friends was Progressive Dance Music. We didn't know it at the time but We were actually creating a Musical Lifestyle of sorts that would follow many of us the rest of our lives.

Sure there would be periods when no music was bought and no new mixes were produced, but time would go by and before you knew it This Music Thing would just Grab hold to Me again...

In 2012 My Musical Journey started again! This dance music would prompt me to start mixing on the web via my YouTube Channel with over 45K followers, and Soundcloud with over 5K and counting... This music would even take me around the U.S and as far away as Beijing China to DJ (Twice). I'm  really excited now more than ever because I am are currently living in Miami and DJing at my residency at N'Namdi Contemporary Gallery.
