Lectric Licks is a live/dj act duo by Snake SA and Gerry Liberty. With a passion for live and electronic music they wanted to come up with a new fresh sound. Lectric Licks plays deep house and melodic techno infused with live electric guitar, keys and synth licks.  Their sound come as a combination of smooth and powerful guitar & keyboard licks with some touches of cinematic sounds and powerful synth leads inbetween.  In a short space of time this duo's sound has proven to get people smiling and dancing in no time!

The love for music runs through the veins of these two dutch guys. Roeland van Houten and Martijn van Hassel teamed up for the first time in 2005 under the aliases "Remote" and "Fanaticz". They signed their first record deal with "eye4dance" imprint "Feeling good records" (Spinnin records sub label). Besides signing "So sexy, Disfunction and Street" under their Fanaticz brand they both also worked on their solo projects. Martijn, has signed a couple tracks under his alias "Martinez del Rocca" (including the track Masquerade on Rizardo Records) but also under the alias “Martino” (including the track “Let’s get dirty” which was in the dutch dance top 30 for 11 weeks). Roeland, who started his career at the legendary club Spock Breda (Netherlands) (Tiesto, Funkerman and Cor Fijneman also started at this venue) runned his career as a fulltime dj under alias "Leonardus Amore" with many residencies in the Netherlands and gigs all over Europe sharing line ups along side Hardwell, Vato Gonzalez, Ida Engbergh, Fedde le Grand and many more. The Fanaticz project ended in 2009 because they were both focusing on their solo careers.
 
Now they’re back as Del Rocca & Amore. Combining their forces to bring some new emotional and energy driven music.

Whirling Dervish Productions came together out of the need for higher quality underground music experiences for adults in the Denver area. A collaboration between Brown Elvis Presents and Mental 69 of the Fantastic Hosts.

Hey, Gareth here, I'm a graphic designer who start designing for clubs, parties, and labels in the late 90s. Back then, mix CDs were the holy grail of both design and music. I loved them.

But I wasn't the only one, mix cds were the soundtracks of our nights, our days, our afterparties and lives, for everyone. Yet in today's internet age, the art form has been lost (or just changed) to 2-3 hour online mixes and streaming videos, which just don't create the same magic your CD collection did. Just 60 minutes of music and incredible artwork.

The Classic Mix CD Series celebrates these discs, their soundtrack, their box art and your memories. We hope you enjoy it.

About Gareth:
Digital creative type, gamer, music lover and occasional DJ. Currently living between Dubai & Seoul after setting sail from Sunderland in 2010. As a young designer, club and music culture was the driving force for his work, producing artwork for local club nights and record labels in the North East of England. In particular, DJ mix cds and their packaging were always his 'holy grail of design', especially those from Renaissance, Global Underground and Good Looking Records. It's a pleasure to share these discs back with people and they still influence our tastes to this day.
