D$'s journey into hip-hop began in the late 90s, crafting parodies of popular alt-rock songs. In 2000, a pivotal encounter with his mentor, Abacuz, ignited his passion for rap. Abacuz bestowed upon him his first rap name, "Endangered Logik," and imparted invaluable knowledge on rhyme structure and beat production using Cool Edit Pro and Fruity Loops.

Despite early collaborations and group projects like Tryp~Wyre, Acadia Manor, and Untitled Poetry, D$ faced setbacks and periods of self-doubt, even stepping away from music in 2010. However, a wrongful termination from a security job reignited his creative fire, leading him to pen his first song in over a decade.
