Rio has never had a shortage of musical talent, even when faced with the exodus that has consistently burdened its cultural landscape for the past decades, the city has constantly succeeded in nurturing new generations. More than just a matter of sheer abundance of artists, the strong resilience of the ecosystem is what makes all the difference against a phenomenon that hasn't shown any signs of subsiding, and this is mainly due to the unflinching efforts of a few collectives and artists. Among the ones who have made a difference, we have Domina, a label that has been a reliable platform for the artistic community, and KINKID, a prolific musician, DJ and producer whose offerings have been nothing short of a fantastic continuous display of command of all the basic principles that  sustain excellence. His ability to create controlled sonic environments where forces are allowed to act freely, colliding or colluding, to yield multiple effects and generate unexpected results is something that crosses expressive formats and materialises in stunning releases, stellar live performances and spectacular mixes such as this one. What we have here is a tour de funk in which he blends manifold manifestations of this canonic rhythmic concoction in order to extract an unstoppable groove concentrate.
