Scrying the Landscape w. Elina Tapio & Hannah Pezzack. The uncanny haunts these encounters. ‘Scrying' is the act of gazing into an object to ignite the unconscious mind. It’s a psychic attunement into one’s second sight, revealing knowledge often concealed. Hannah Pezzack and Elina Tapio ascribe this ocular practice to the potentially mystical nature of Deep Listening. In the landscape, through ecologically-charged compositions, they hear sentient slime mould, oceans of language-bearing micro-plastics and cybernetic entities arriving from the future.

This is a very passionate and a personal version of Chopin Ballade No 1. It has  constant exaggeration of motifs and dynamics which represents the state of my mind on a daily basis and especially when performing. I take it to the extreme - music is the expression of the emotions and I let my emotions go wild.

Itako se promène main dans la main avec le spectre audible de la musique des quarante dernières années : 
Il accorde dans ses sets beaucoup de place aux tempos laissé pour compte, avec des préférences marquées pour la musique industrielle belge, la culture disco-edit, les oubliés de la trance et du downtempo des années 2000 ou encore la bass anglaise … Un juste (?) milieux entre musique super-compressé et son opposé.
Sur un autre versant il a produit plusieurs EP et à participé à différentes VA au cours des 3 dernières années.  Tendance acid, EBM, techno ou electro avec un stop à l’arrêt marqué, contrôle à droite et à gauche, cet été avec un album sur le label de Adam X : Sonic Groove.

This CD features Olli Mustonen with piano works by Alexander Scriabin, which have become his signature pieces in recital concerts.

The virtuoso sets of Etudes and Preludes cover a wide range of late-Romantic expressions, from heroic to religious, ecstatic to melancholic. The Sonata No. 10 is regarded as one of Scriabin's greatest works. The collection culminates with the pianistic tour-de-force of Vers la flamme, an astonishing piece famously championed by the late Vladimir Horowitz.

Olli Mustonen has been hailed by The Sunday Times as, "a living dream of pianism, having broken through an expressive barrier that other players do not know exists."
