Bliz Nochi grew up in Moldova, born into a musician-family, surrounded by the rich cultural traditions of Eastern Europe, where music was a constant thread in everyday life. Now based in Hamburg/DE he draws on these early influences, blending them with his deep connection to nature and his curiosity about the emotional power of sound. Through his music style, Bliz Nochi brings together electronic beats and traditional folk sounds from around the world. His music is less about following trends and more about telling stories, stories that move both the body and the spirit evoking the energy of a festival at sunrise or the joy of dancing with the people we love. Whether playing live or blending genres in a hybrid DJ set, Bliz Nochi creates spaces where people can connect, reflect, and celebrate. Over the years, Bliz Nochi has had the chance to perform at a wide range of venues and festivals, from Amsterdam Dance Event (NL) and Scorpios Mykonos (GR) to Fusion Festival (DE) and intimate spaces like Golden Pudel Club and Südpol (DE). These moments have shaped his approach to performance, where the focus is on creating a genuine shared experience. Bliz Nochi’s music has been released on labels like UCR, Multiculti,, Café de Anatolia and more reflecting his dedication to crafting sounds that feel both rooted and boundary-pushing. Tom Stephens released his debut album ‘What Lies in the Difference’ in 2016. It received glowing reviews with THE BRAG awarding it their ‘Album of the Week’ and praising it as “an exceptional record in all senses of the word: as a debut album it is startlingly self contained and assured, but as a passionate, strikingly pure record, it stands apart from the crowd.”
 
What Lies in the Difference is an album built on the observation of the relationships that surround Tom Stephens.  It is an exploration of the depths of decisions and consequence held together by intimately glowing instrumentation and an earnest, compelling vocal.  The album was recorded on friend and musical collaborator Julia Jacklin’s farm in the Blue Mountains of NSW and produced alongside Ryan K Brennan.    
 
‘Down to Rest’, the album’s lead single radiates with modest guitar, luscious backing vocals and Stephens’ authentically Australian voice.  The track was well received by critics, having been awarded high rotation on Unearthed Radio and spins on 2Ser, Fbi and ABC Radio National. 
 
Tom Stephens has been consistently honing his songwriting craft since releasing his first EP in late 2012.  In 2014, Tom Stephens released his sophomore EP ‘Embers’ which was praised for its tender portrayal of life and place and its resonant but grounded atmosphere.  While not betraying the thoughtful lyricism and intimate sound displayed on Embers, What Lies in the Difference marks a maturing into a robust sound that dances between folk and alt-rock.

To me, creating electronic music feels more like a process of letting go — not obsessing over details or structure. That’s why I prefer to record my tracks live - apologies for that.

Metabolising a breadth of timeless influences into a rare clarity of vision, Forever Son makes music for those ready and willing to be moved.

The project of dynamic frontman, Jack Robbins (lead vocals, guitar), Forever Son draws comparisons with the likes of captivating revolutionists Nick Drake, Aldous Harding, Townes Van Zandt, and Neil Young. Equal parts conviction and restraint, Robbins captures with hallmark, genre-defying completeness all the colour and feeling of everything that makes us human. All in all, this is the sound of fearlessness. 

Forever Son’s writing credits include the 7” split single with Fraser A. Gorman, debut EP, Trout Fishing (2014), single, Rambling Knots (2015) and the celebrated first LP, 10 Months released in 2017. Forever Son has appeared at Queenscliff Music Festival, in a recent multi-state tour for Porch Sessions in the summer of 2020, and is currently preparing for the much-anticipated follow-up album due out later this year.
