The Last Night On Earth name is spreading like wildfire, due to some hugely successful releases that have garnered worldwide acclaim. The newest release from Last Night On Earth brings together a popular pairing - known for their collaborations and combined remixes, studio partners Inxec Vs Droog present their ‘Wide Open’ EP on 25th February.

In their own right, this duo make up two very well established names in the house and techno community... UK born Inxec comes straight out of the Nottingham club scene and along with close friend Matt Tolfrey, has an impressive roster of releases on high class labels under his belt. Droog is the DJ collective of Andrei Osyka, Brett Griffin and Justin Sloe - the Culprit label owners have steadily built a reputation as one of the leading purveyors of forward thinking dance music, in Los Angeles and beyond with parties boasting the likes of Jamie Jones, Steve Bug, Visionquest, Nicolas Jaar and many more.

This couple come together once more to create another master mix of bounce, bass, electronic and atmospheric blends with ‘Wide Open’ and ‘Mountain Drop’. The two track EP is latest in a series of diverse electronic tracks with the inevitably slick Last Night On Earth touch.

Welcome back to the Cocoon Recordings headquarter. We are proud to present the next chapter of our infamous compilation-series and believe or not: It's 'M' already! Covered in the known and beloved package-design but all in pink this time... dreamy and pretty and that's the way to start the music here, too. Dutch based sushitech-producer Makam presents a dreamy opening track that is without any doubt the perfect start for this compilation. Warm harmonies and dropping sounds open up the door for track number two by Matt Tolfrey and Inxec: 'Never in doubt' continues where Makam stopped however Tolfreys and Inxecs harmonies and the moody atmosphere meet a solid beat programming and merge down to a pushing piece of music that could have seen the day of light in Detoit, the inofficial techno-capital. Alejandro Mosso joins the club with the third number of our M compilation and he opens up a bag full of positive energy and happiness. With a slight Cadenza-feeling his tune is made for the next beach-party and perfect for all you Âme-fans out there. 'Grinding Love' want you to move, forget and dance till you sweat! Douglas Greed steps back a bit on the energy scale but adds more craziness to the package with his production. 'Dynamite' is a freaky piece of tech-house in a cool Green Velvet style. Sounds, lyrics and the whole programming come pretty close to the lala-land-masters big hits. A cool tune with not very usual ingredients and for sure a great one! Coming up next is 'Beatmakerz".

 Over the course of 8 eventful years since their genesis as the Droog collective, the Los Angeles-based trio – Andrei, Brett & Justin – have become true Renaissance men of underground dance music. Sprung from their DJ roots in late 90s/early ‘00s, Droog have taken on (nearly) all of the essential mantles: label heads – since 2009 their Culprit outfit has become a real force in the new “Deep” dance music movement; promoters of considerable experience and renown – their party series long a hometown institution, took on a global reach with events spanning Europe and the Americas; and producers – solo or with steady collaborator Inxec, they have infiltrated some of the top dance music labels like Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, Supernature, Last Night on Earth, Noir and Akbal.  

Droog has now emerged as a touring DJ unit with a suitcase-full of highlights, from 4 appearances at the beloved Fabric in London, the twin Berlin clubbing institutions: Watergate and Renate, and Paris’ legendary Rex to memorable shows in Peru, Australia, Russia, Portugal, Ecuador and beyond.
