Bio:
Sarah Farina is an international DJ, music producer, curator and activist. She hosts and curates the interdisciplinary Berlin event series Emergent Bass with her friends, which focuses on the historical awareness of cultural contexts
of music and celebrates and uplifts the Afro-diasporic influences in underground club culture.

She’s innovative, she’s skilful, and she’s the smiling antithesis of genre cliques and sour scene elitists and sprinkles positivity over the darkest bass.
What you hear is all you need to know. And what you’ll hear from Sarah Farina’s sets and music productions are seamlessly blended bass-heavy frequencies and futuristic beats with fearless forays through the hardcore
continuum and beyond.

It’s inclusive, forward-thinking and unrestrained. It’s a genre-rejecting style that she’s named Rainbow Bass.
She’s vocal about the issues of current club culture and runs the project „Transmission“ with researcher Dr. Kerstin Meißner, which aims to make the political relevance and history of international sound, club and rave culture audible and visible.

Berlin born musician Frau Silberfischer is a passionated collector of soundscapes within the busy urban environment of her hometown. An emblematic artist of the Palestinian underground scene, SAMA’ is one of the first DJs and electronic music producers to emerge from the region. Her sound, an original punchy kind of techno, is dry and musical all at once and has quickly made its way across Europe and beyond.
 
SAMA, meaning ‘sky’ in Arabic, started mixing in 2006 in parties around Ramallah, Palestine. Several years later she started producing her own music and expanding her interest in synthesis in 2010, with a focus on techno, house, and other deeper sub-genres of electronic music.
 
The artist graduated from the United Kingdom with a BSc in Audio Engineering and Music Production, then moved to Cairo where she worked as a sound designer for film, became a music producer and then instructor. SAMA’ now runs her own Audio Engineering & Sound Design company working across films and documentaries in the Middle East. In 2017, she was selected as a Laureate by the French Institute, and during that time attended a residency at the International City of Arts in Paris. SAMA’ also runs a publishing company called Awyav, representing independent artists from the Arab world.
 
In late 2018, SAMA’s Boiler Room performance and the associated documentary about the scene in Palestine went viral and more and more people are seeing that music has no boundaries. SAMA’ was recently listed in SheSaid.So’s Alternative Power 100 List, and plays a high-profile set at Ibiza’s World Heritage Site of Dalt Vila for the International Music Summit in late May. She is currently working on a studio album.

The name 'Gyndroid' is a blend of the Greek word 'gyno' meaning woman and the suffix '-oid' meaning resembling, but not exactly the same. 
Because I've always felt that my gender is multiple. 
So should be Gynoid But since i love sci fi, i had to put a droid in there somewhere...
And tadaaaaaaaaa: Gyndroid was born!

To explore new sounds and styles and create something truly unique and exciting, that’s my thing.

I specialize in crafting deep, driving tracks that are designed to take you on a journey, whether you’re dancing in a club or simply chilling at home.

I’m not interested in conforming to any particular genre or style – instead, I’m all about breaking the rules and doing something completely different.

For me, music is all about creating an emotional connection. I want to create something that not only sounds great, but also makes you feel something deep inside. Whether it’s joy, sadness, excitement, or anything in between, I believe that music has the power to connect us all on a deeply human level.

When I’m not in the studio, you can usually find me exploring my other passions, like fashion, yoga, and sensual arts.

I believe that these experiences all inform and enrich my music, and I’m always looking for new ways to connect with people and express myself.

I am an independent multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and music producer. My genres typically revolve around Alternative, Singer-songwriter, Alt-pop, Hip-Hop, Indie, Indie Folk, Rock, Pop/Rock, EDM, Indie Pop, and many more. Ultimately, I tell stories about this world we are living in so that we can at the very least sing something we both relate to.
