Episode 19 is dedicated to Sci Fi Electro series, where each artist has created a 15 minute track per side (2 tracks in total), taking you from pure electro tracks to very experimental compositions, sounds and atmospheres. The series is a collection of seven releases inspired by the following films created in the 20th century: THX 1138, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner, The Thing, Akira, Terminator and Tron. 
You will listen interpretations inspired by movies: THX 1138 (by Transpac) and Blade Runner (by Scape One). This is our tribute as well to the talented Greek electronic music artist - Vangelis (RIP), who has written music for Blade Runner movie. Tracks have been released only in vinyl format (Electro Records). Enjoy and thanks for listening !

Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, started his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre (@djtygre), he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys. This album Slaphead Faun shows the whole Karsten Pflum spectre of sound - from the harsh and aggressive Thael Spir to the softer and almost magical Computer Weekend. It reveals different approaches to composition techniques and arrangement - Byrd or Fy Darkspedter are straight forward going, while others like Jazzkroge III or Make Rite are gradually morphing in new mysterious directions.

Slaphead Faun offers poppy melodic lines, psyched drill n’ bass, old-school IDM and experimental electronica. It is a timeless dish of old and new tunes, a dish that altogether adds a new flavor to your ears. Poignant and seductive, like shadows manifesting in the dark.
