A hidden gem & one of Detroit’s most underrated in the underground music scene. Jay’s style reflects his city and his long time spent on the west coast, curating a perfect blend sonically and musically of raw, deeply thought provoking & soulful. Learning from watching the great Theo Parrish spin for years while on the dance floor, he’s picked up a huge love for being well rounded, eclectic & versatile within any genre of music. Having a strong technical dance background in the Black American vernacular underground scene, Jay’s selecting approach is a no nonsense, no fluff storytelling take no matter the room he’s in.
