@Axiom_berlin has been a key figure in promoting and presenting electro, techno, electronica and experimental music in Berlin for more than a decade. 

Through his work as a DJ, label owner of @crazy-language, and promoter of the @skizze01 nights at OHM Berlin and electro-driven X:ploration parties at @suicide-circus-berlin, Silvio has brought a staggering list of artists to Berlin over the years, including Electronome, DMX Krew, Monolith, Boris Divider, Luxus Varta, Galaxian, Cosmic Force, Heinrich Dressel, Teslasonic and many more.

For this 12th edition of our podcast series, we're happy to present a +2 hour journey through all shapes and sizes of electro by Axiom, recorded live at X:ploration in Berlin on November 17th, 2017.

Eliott Forin returns with a brilliant new 3 tracker under his Foreign Sequence alias. On ‘Repeat Pattern’, @tonoforeign continues to develop his already masterful craft in deep Electro and techno tinged sounds. This EP is the third from the new label @Gestaltlabel - A collective looking to push deep, undiscovered music.

The first two tracks sit firmly in the category of deep: pensive, emotive and intricately detailed. On the other hand, the final track (the track I chose to premiere), Trùùm((33rd), is aimed squarely at the dance floor. Sinister sirens swirl around a robotic, machine-like bassline. Ice cold drums keep the track, and the listener, moving. Somber pads nestle in the background and provide the emotion that is always present in Forin’s music. This is a dance floor weapon with real heart! You can pre-order this digital album now via Bandcamp but will release officially on July 20th.

Their journey had taken them to the bottom of a huge range of towering mountains, each covered in a thick glistening blanket of snow. They began the steady incline up the nearest and smallest mountain, eager to find out what lay at the top. The air around was fresh and crisp, making it the perfect conditions to ascend the slopes. But as they made their move, a force stopped them in their tracks. An invisible field that they couldn't cross. They were stuck at the foothills.

Belgian producer Placid One lands on Shaw Cuts with his Heroes Of The East EP, a story of love, pride and rivalry. This marks his third EP, following releases on Ransom Note Records and Nebulae, and sees him dive head first into pulsating drums, bright pads and menacing soundscapes.
