was geschehen kann, wenn zwei seelenverwandte einander begegnen, zeigen diese zwei jungs aus berlin. beide, seit der frühesten kindheit durch verschiedenste musikalische einflüsse geprägt, finden sich in der kreativen hochphase ihres lebens zusammen um ihren stil zu perfektionieren und sich von den einflüssen des jeweils anderen inspirieren zu lassen um nun einen unnachahmbaren sound zu kreieren. um ihre stimmungen und erfahrungen in unverwechselbare sounds zu verpacken, durchlaufen sie verschiedenste facetten der elektronischen tanzmusik. sie kämpfen sich durch das dickicht des minimal + electro-waldes, schwimmen durch reißende techno-flüsse, klettern auf deep-house-berge um ihre fahne auf der tech-house-spitze zu schwingen.  
der weg ist das ziel und so legten sie das digitale schnell ad acta um back to the roots zum klassischen vinyl zu wechseln und auch den griff zu timecodeplatten nicht zu scheuen. und wer ein guter musiker sein will, der lässt sich nicht nur inspirieren, sondern inspiriert auch und so werden wir in geraumer zeit viel neu produziertes auf die ohren bekommen.
so verschieden wie beide charaktere, so unglaublich zeit- und schwerelos ist die musik, die durch 
den mix verschiedenster vorlieben, gefühle und impulse hier aufeinander trifft um sich zu einem großen ganzen
zu vereinen, unabhängig von zeit und raum tanzen wir schwerelos durch die unendlichkeit.

 D.J. / Remix & Music producer / Sound Designer, Doctor Soul started to play music during his childhood days. In the 80’s he learned Bass and played in Indie Soul & Funk bands for the local scene. He was an active collector of LP’s and 12 – inch in Rock/ Jazz Funk/ Fusion/ Soul/ Funk/ Disco & Brazilian bands.
In 1987  he started Dj’ing in parties as well as on Radio Shows in the Bordeaux area, at that time the Acid Jazz phenomenon started to become the big thing. He became a professional Dj in the early 90’s and he explored more into Hip Hop, with fellow Rap acts such as “Iam” among others as well as in Soul Funk music and New Jack Swing…
In 1993, he recorded and co-produced his first track “Un Style Funky” on the now defunct “Double Zero” label under a Funk & Hip Hop collective and in 1994 he released “La Preuve Par Funk” in the Acid Jazz/ Funk genre. Doctor Soul became more involved in the soul scene and did the warm up for live bands such as the British combo “Izit” he also held a residency in a club (Le Senechal) in Bordeaux from 1994 to 1998. Many years later he held a residency from 2013 till 2014 at “Luncha” in Paris. Meanwhile, being close to the Bordeaux Hip Hop, Soul & Funk scene he collaborated with Tribal Jam wich was the first french New Jack Swing band.
On the musical production side, he has collaborated with many artists and bands from diverse genres even in Jazz, bringing production remixes for the likes of legendary Tania Maria, Jeff Cascaro, Mandoo & Interview to name just a few!
His own musical releases are deeply rooted in disco and funk territory with a modern sonic production touch that can grab attention from the younger generation, as well as from the elder who like to be reminded of the 80’s dance floor culture.
Since 2018 he has been hosting a monthly show on RapTz Radio and on the late night dream.com while doing Dj sets for The House Theory Radio Show, The Midnight Riot Radio, and Disko Knights.
DoctorSoul´s tracks are released on the London based MIDNIGHT RIOT record label, the Berlin based TOO SLOW TO DISCO record label and have reached many times the #1 places in worldwide Disco charts. 
They are  played by numerous very famous known DJs around the world such as: DJ Supermarkt, Ashley Beedle, Lenny Fontana,Mannix Kling, The House Theory Team, DJ White, Tony Griffin, Disko Knight, Humberto Galvàn, Crème De Coco, Jack Tennis, Ursula 1000, Yam Who?, ChuggingEdits, Limpodisco, Ruff Diamond, Disco Daze, Lego Edit, or Rob Hardt from The Cool Million team…

Bård Aasen Lødemel, aka Skatebård, got into techno and rave during the '90s before he became a producer of retro-futuristic disco, house, and techno. 
Hailing from a town called Ørsta on the Norwegian west coast, Lødemel moved to Bergen in the year 2000, where he quickly became part of the town's growing club scene. 
After handing over a homemade demo to Tellé Records label boss Mikal Telle, Lødemel was signed to offshoot label Tellektro in 2001. 
His first release under the name of Skatebård, a concise vinyl-only album called Skateboarding Was a Crime (In 1989), was released in 2002, and slowly but surely Skatebård's reputation started spreading beyond Norway's borders. 
Throughout his impressive career of releasing five albums and more than twenty 12-inches, he has steadily carved out his own corner of dance music with a unique flair. Traversing a range of seemingly disparate genres and emotions comes incredibly naturally to the Norwegian artist, whose music oscillates between Italo disco and raw Detroit infused house and techno. With an enviably eclectic collection of the mastery to navigate it seamlessly, Skatebård’s DJ sets offer exploratory excursions through the unknown and unexpected.
