Derealization, depersonalization -- these are things I often battle.  This song began as a meditative track for my morning, but I dissociated in the act of creating it, so I changed it a bit to reflect the depth of the battle, the beauty and fear in being "lost," the victory in coming back to myself, and a bit of the pain that lingers on after the experience.

To Gather Myself In

I had a prose piece that I'd written during a particularly unhappy period of time in Alaska.  I asked my dear friend Bash Nova to give it a bit more, and he graciously complied, building on the feelings in the work with his lovely layers (hah!) of reverb, synth, distortion, and Bash Nova Style.  Something different.  Hope you enjoy.

E AKTION was formed in 2000 by Mor.xiten (S.F.I. [ Stigmata Flesh Infernal ] ) and S Shaytan. The project E AKTION, is shaped by the minds of S Shaytan and Mor.xiten in the year 2004, by the name of Aktion T4 (was the name given after the Second World War to the Nazi euthanasia program in which medical liability provided for the suppression of people with genetic diseases, incurable or more or less serious physical deformities), which proposes Rhytmical Death Industrial with Power Electronics sonority, that released a cd in the same year "Dasein Ohne Leben". Subsequently amended in 2012 in E AKTION. The new musical joins the sounds of the most extreme noise, a purely rhythmic industrial with dark ambient suggestions. Are currently in preparation for the new tracks that will make their debut cd E AKTION, with songs composed between Rome and Bologna. External collaborations with the industrial scene for the look and feel of the project, in the figures of the artist Marco Fusco and make up artist Paola Mattiace Project Fx, and Consalvo Coil (Coil Commemorate Enslave). The concept of the so-called, will be centered on mental condition of the BIID (Body Integrity Identity Disorder, formerly known as Amputee Identity Disorder, is a psychological disorder cui sufferers feel they would be happier living as an amputee. Typically It is Accompanied by the desire to amputate one or more healthy limbs to Achieve That end). And this concept will create works of various kinds, not only music but also video and photographs. E AKTION will be present in the compilation'' Castration'' published by the SP RECORDINGS, which is scheduled for release in late December. Songs in the compilation ''VA - (2012) Noise, Raping Ears Since 1913!'' , participation in the compilation "Walking Ghost Phase / Mayas Sievert", partecipation in the compilation '''Krach Macht Frei''.

Didn't make the cut.  Was gonna put this on a split with Swin Deorin, but I'm starting to feel like a one-trick pony.  I'm heading back to my roots for a bit, working on maximizing the minimal, focusing of field recordings, layered vox, found sounds, and simple instrumentation, full of imperfections.  I like this track a little bit, but I'm lacking any connection to the constant creating, layering, and tweaking of synths.  Sounds natural to me. ;)
