Christine Michelle, a DJ and producer, was born in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood and raised surrounded by music which developed a deep love for piano, brass, and strings with classical and jazz influences.

She first discovered Seattle's underground dance music scene in the 1990's. Her love of music and dancing grew at parties like Freak Night, Nocturnal Wonderland, and at venues like Vinylized, NFT, DV8, Noc Noc, and the Fenix Underground, to name a few. This background led her to DJing in the summer of 22'.

Christine is known for weaving bass-forward dark melodic and atmospheric sounds through a multiverse of genres moving dance floors and has shared her craft at many of Seattle's top night-clubs such as Monkey Loft, Cherry, Kremwerk, Hidden Hall, Nectar Lounge, Madame Lous, Supernova, SeaMonster Lounge for crews like Shameless, Viva, Uniting Souls, ViViD, Opulent Temple, Reflect, Studio 4/4, Caravan as well as headlining at The Mercury and shared her sound at festivals such as Ignition NW, Cascadia, APOG  supporting headliners such as TONY H, ATYYA, CREACH, Lyrah, Massane, VNSSA, Fred Everything, Marbs, Lucati, Rimarkable, Ian Pooley, Dosem, and Anyasa. Christine has also been featured on C89.5 The Vortex, Proton Radio Amplified and Innerflight broadcast. 

Inspired to bring the dance music together to connect and share, Christine founded Elevated Frequencies events in March of 23' and holds residencies through Reflect and Emergence DNB as well as promotes for Caravan. 

October 23' Christine Michelle has been focused on bringing her creativity to the studio where she works to produce bass-forward atmospheric music focused to raise vibrations and transcend dance floors.

An instrumentalist, electronic producer, DJ, and graphic designer, Carranza shines out as a respected and esteemed member of the the house and techno community of Baja California, México. 

Carranza is a multitalented artist and consummate music lover. Having entered the music world as a vocalist/guitarist, he takes inspiration from grassroots flavors like blues, jazz, funk, and soul. He is also heavily influenced by the psychedelic rock and west coast hip-hop that colored his nineties upbringing. 
He became interested in electronic music during the progressive house boom of the early two-thousands, but by 2010 Carranza was already known throughout the Baja underground.  In 2013, a prodigious year for the Mexican artist, Carranza founded Barojo, one of the first nightlife spots in Baja California to feature the mature sounds of the electronic dance music underground.

Today, Carranza’s myriad musical influences are on display behind the decks as well as in the music studio.  A modern, stripped-back DJ sound has earned him gigs with international artists like Josh Wink, Javier Carballo, Melodie, Janeret, and Randall M.  At the same time, Carranza highlights his love and appreciation for his musical roots in original tracks signed with Coquette Records and Soblazn.  His personal fusion of abstract textures, warm melodies, bright snares, and steady swing percussions has earned support from global heavy hitter Barac.  

In 2016, Carranza joined the independent record label revival sweeping Baja and the west coast of the United States as a co-founder of Honne Music, a digital/vinyl release label out of Ensenada, Mexico that has signed artists including Birdsmakingmachine, Rowlanz, and Melodie.  Most recently, he has become an administrator for Audionik, Ltd, another Mexican vinyl-only label that has featured Dubphone, Egal 3, Priku, and Jack Wickman.  

Carranza’s latest event project, named Past Is Prologue, is a collaboration with fellow artist Paulo.  They focus on creating small, intimate gatherings that foster more personal interactions between and among the artist and guests.  The events target a mature audience who craves a more inclusive, welcoming, and relaxing party environment with a sexy groove that never quits.  

For a limited time, Carranza can be found gigging, collaborating, and rubbing elbows in the western United States.

Aivilo is a digital/analog DJ known for blending deep/minimal styles of house, techno and breaks with a touch of acid and a unique leftfield edge. A tinge of goth/grunge & early r&b/hiphop is tastefully spotted throughout her selections as well.

She found her niche in Seattle's underground electronic music community in 2010, following a young-hearted paradigm shift in an abandoned train tunnel that illuminated the power of music and community.

Aivilo started DJing in 2013 and has since worked behind the scenes with Shameless Productions, Patchwerks Synth Boutique, and countless other local projects, helping shape Seattle's (underground) music scene.

Raised amidst the varietal appreciation of music in Seattle, a unique flavor surfaces in Aivilo’s sound, bringing forth more than your typical dance tracks. Her timeless grasp on music culture, versatility and ability to seamlessly move between genres reflects her ongoing exploration of new musical possibilities.

Now based in San Francisco, Aivilo works with As You Like It on multiple fronts, and hosts a monthly radio show called re:treat on YerbaFM where she features guest artists and emphasizes creative freedom and authenticity.

Hey, Gareth here, I'm a graphic designer who start designing for clubs, parties, and labels in the late 90s. Back then, mix CDs were the holy grail of both design and music. I loved them.

But I wasn't the only one, mix cds were the soundtracks of our nights, our days, our afterparties and lives, for everyone. Yet in today's internet age, the art form has been lost (or just changed) to 2-3 hour online mixes and streaming videos, which just don't create the same magic your CD collection did. Just 60 minutes of music and incredible artwork.

The Classic Mix CD Series celebrates these discs, their soundtrack, their box art and your memories. We hope you enjoy it.
