Description: This was written for a 'Scoring for Film' module at Uni back in December. The media clip used was the introduction to Equilibrium. The whole idea of the piece was to pay homage to that stereotypical sci-fi sound (you'll notice the Terminator motif). The competition I recently entered took ideas from this, which is why the intro's are the same.

This one I made with my brand new Roland D50, as I always loved the Stereo Polysynth sound...so I made this one, with some Roland Juno 60 fill in too, and with Moog Voyager Bass, cause I like it! Hope you like it! I really love to dub with my Juno 60 and some delay...totally mind blowing!

Fresh Dub 82

Made from scratch using only hardware and analog synthesizers. The bass part is Minimoog Voyager, for the sweep pad synth I used a Roland Juno 60, there is also some synth pad poly made with a Roland D 50 and Korg M1. All drums part are made in Logic with Ultrabeat sampler.

For a bit of fun I whipped up a track for Tom and Alex from Triple J to feature on their breakfast show. The criteria was "use as many Mr Freeze puns as possible from the 1997 movie Batman and Robin". The result was 50 seconds of Mr Freeze and 80's Boogie. Upon request I have extended the Jam :)

Nedwin, otherwise known as Edward Brown, is an award-winning woodwind player, music teacher, music composer, and music producer with a Master's in music composition for film and television, based in Wells, UK, and a seller of royalty-free stock music. 

Ed's royalty-free stock music has had many influences; he has worked with esteemed composers like Sefi Carmel, Martin Kiszko, and William Goodchild and has produced music for various indie films and video games, including the hit shooter, Synthetik: Legion Rising.

Over the years, Ed's music production has been influenced by various genres: he grew up listening to jazz classics, enjoys experimenting with synthesizers, and using his knowledge, learned at university, of scoring for orchestra and vocals in his music productions and royalty-free stock music.

Edward is available for hire for original music commissions or as a saxophone, clarinet, music theory, composition teacher.
