Storyteller is my way of capturing the emotional essence of the desert - its openness, its mystery, its pull. These tracks were built with layered melodies, dreamy textures, and that hypnotic melodic house & techno energy I love so much.
The title track sets the tone with warm, vibrant melodies and deep atmosphere. Inner Zone cuts through with emotive synths and progressive drive and Mojave closes the journey with a darker, raw, energetic edge.
This EP is for anyone who connects through sound - anyone who feels something when music opens a world inside them. Can’t wait to share the full release with you.

Sagia - Storyteller [Desert Hearts Black] [Preview]

Inámo debuts on Essential Part with Destiny, a track that speaks in fragments, as if tracing the memory of a forbidden dream.

Built around a steady pulse and a magnetic bass line, it unfolds slowly, drawing light through shadow. Growing steadily, as if it were the first time that the ascent becomes aware of its own gravity. The production balances analog grit with subtle melodic air, staying minimal yet evocative.

At its core, the voice of Lexie carries Inámo’s words in French, a declaration of fate and love that gently bends time with each phrase, turning meaning into texture. The atmosphere feels intimate and cinematic, like a message found in orbit.

The remix comes from Musumeci, who redirects the energy toward the floor. His interpretation keeps the voice but strips the melodies away, building a tighter frame around crisp percussion and playful rhythm. The outcome feels raw, spontaneous, and human.

Destiny presents two visions of the same impulse. Both speak the same language.

On The Moon Knows, JÏMONO leans into the darker side of Afro Tech, building a slow-burn groove that feels like it was written for the deepest pocket of the night. The percussion is earthy but unhurried, locking into a circular pulse that gives the synths space to drift and refract.

Rather than chasing a big breakdown, the track works in subtle shifts: chords that glow a little brighter, melodic phrases that arc across the stereo field like passing satellites. It has that reflective, end-of-year mood baked in, but still hits with enough low-end weight to hold a floor. The result is a quietly potent tool for DJs who like their late-night moments hypnotic, emotional and just a touch cosmic.

New Worlds EP is a groove-drenched, chuggy acid electronic masterpiece enhanced by mixes from partner in crime and dear friend of Dark Utopia, Keith Forrester. 
Ricky El-Qasem, from Manchester, is an experienced DJ who cut his teeth in the 90s. Ricky took a break from partying and DJing to pursue family and work. Fast forward to 2022, Ricky rekindled his interest in the music software he'd been experimenting with in the late 1990s and started producing electronic music, encompassing genres such as techno, House, Acid, and Breakbeat, under the pseudonym Dark Utopia, with several releases to his name.

BIO:

Channel, real name Marcin, is a Poland-based DJ who explores the emotional and romantic side of house music. His sound flows between melodic house, deep house and indie dance, where subtle melodies and expressive vocals meet warm grooves and gentle rhythms. Inspired by the melodic sensitivity and melancholy of 80s post-punk and new wave, filtered through a modern electronic perspective, Channel brings into his sets a deep love for tracks that tell stories and create atmosphere, guided by melody, warmth and emotion. His selections create moments that float somewhere between dream and movement, intimacy and collective experience. This is music for those who dance with closed eyes and somehow see more.

As a member and coordinator of the Micronoce collective, Channel co-shapes a platform uniting DJs from several cities, navigating between house, minimal and techno. He is also the initiator and co-organiser of the Studnovo electronic music festival, where music becomes a shared ritual rather than just an event. Channel regularly shares his musical vision in Poznań venues such as Dom Technika, House Szkolna and Rewiry. He has also played in other clubs across Poland, including Plan B in Warsaw, Drugi Dom in Gdynia, UV Club in Łódź, Centrala in Gorzów Wielkopolski and others. He has also appeared at the Obra, Mech, Osada and Bursztyn festivals.

Clergy returns for its 9th instalment with a club ready EP of serious weapons from label mainstay, and one half of Works Unit, Reflec. The four track release opens with 'Acid Response', in which Reflec has combined a tough rhythm section with a growling 303 to create a high energy roller guaranteed to keep the dance floor moving. Continuing on this trend of heavy hitting rollers, 'Osmosis' is a drum track through and through, which incorporates dark and sweeping atmospherics into the groove true to Reflec's form.

The B side see's host to 'Canyon', a peak time Clergy anthem with heavy, driving drums complimented with a spacey and emotional pad on the breakdown. Clergy 009 is rounded off by a broken edit of 'Canyon' which exchanges the driving kicks for a fragmented rhythmic style, a nod to the UK roots of Reflec's musical style.

H-Productions is the longstanding label from Stockholm starman Cari Lekebusch that dates it’s launch back to 1986, which is an incredible longevity in anyone’s book.

The latest two tracker is brought to you by veteran producer Mattias Fridell, a previous mix guest (DTMIXS14) of Death Techno and fellow Swede, who has released his killer tracks on the likes of Gynoid Audio, Affin, Sonntag Morgen, Labrynth to name only a few.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the second track titled “Aklamera” that is floor focused with jacking techno at its core. The punchy, raw sounds have a familiar analogue feel that instantly bring the cool factor, and where a combination of gritty stabs keep it sounding fresh throughout. A super DJ tool, it also isn’t just a one trick pony, as the production quality and use of sound design itself is creative and engaging for anyone looking for unique characteristics from a most definite master.
