Pens, based in Leipzig, Germany is a seasoned musician, delving into music production at age 14. His eclectic musical journey spans Dubstep, Garage, Jazz, Funk and Ambient ultimately finding his artistic haven in the diversity. A2iCE & BO3 are a DJ and producer duo currently based in Dortmund with a heart for bass heavy, driving and genre-crossing sound. Characterized by bass, techno, breakbeat and jungle from all over the world, the two deliver a highly energetic output, as they don’t want to be bound to a certain sound or range. They just had their first vinyl EP release on Paryìa Records. As producers they are influenced by their everyday life: the two are a media and sound artist duo with a passion for nature, future and technology. Currently they’re both into synthesizers and collecting sound working on live sets, that combine their artist interests with music.

They just started their own party series „tasty tandrum“ at Schlegel Club Bochum to bring some breaks and unexpected twists into nightlife.

Control Freak co-founder Customer Service returns to the label with his second EP, Amygdala. As both a DJ and producer, Hong Kong-born, London-based Customer Service thrives in a genre-defying nether zone - rooted in familiar dancefloor grooves, but with a distinctive, off kilter sense of rhythm and melody that instantly mark his productions out.
With previous music supported from the likes of Ben UFO, upsammy & Oceanic, Tom Ravenscroft, Solid Blake, dBridge, re:ni and more, this record follows the thread of previous Customer Service releases, exploring deep, trippy and murky textures rooted in techno & electro soundscapes. This is the first edition of my irregular recurring show on gatekeeper radio:

The show is always based on a vibe you get along the way. 
For this, I always invite guests to take over half of the mix, I'll take the other half. 

For the first one, I've gone for a pretty broad theme: Create a mood that you might find yourself in at night, on the go, in a city.

Therefore, I invited the multi-talented producer and DJ duo A2iCE & BO3, who are known for their genre-blending sound that traverses techno, bass and experimental styles. I especially love their productions because they combine trippy, organic and atmospheric sounds with percussive, varied and bass-heavy rhythms. After they performed a live set at our sympuls.festival, I just had to ask them for this. 

Not surprisingly, their mix definitely hits the spot, starting off atmospheric before becoming more percussive and upbeat. Check it out!

Jana Kerima is an artist, producer and DJ. For her mix, she has taken a little journey through her favourite tracks at the moment, starting with dubby house numbers and then drifting into percussion. It is an essential part of her mixes that tell a story, that the tracks connect and that you can lose yourself in the music. The mix consists of 50 percent old vinyl releases, which she combines here with newer tunes to create a kind of timelessness.
