Synthetic Ignorance EP by Zurich based John Parsley @johnparsley is a refection of the current madness human kind is going through right now. Hyper capitalism, state surveilance, shifting values, mental health disruptions and loss of trust leads us to a new synthetic ignorance in our society. John Parlsey composed his debut release on @lustpoderosa using his very own interpretation of a post minimal wave synth aesthetic. It came out as magical dark and gloomy four tracker which is packed with immersive rhytms, weird staccato voices, claustrophobic acid lines paired with hopeful melodies. This project emerges as the very frst Digital/Vinyl on Demand hybrid release by Lustpoderosa. 100 Limited black Vinyl a 140g.

The band from Hannover was originally formed in 1980 and released their first album 'Zum Teufel mit dem Kamel' in 1982. During this period they also recorded a second album, which, however, was never published. Some of the tracks on the record originate from this album which were restored jam sessions on tape. @KrisBaha (@power_station / @cocktail-damore / @pinkmanrecords)shows with his projects that music has no borders. His releases and DJ sets have this strength of an experienced time traveller. He did this remix for Jack Pattern just before he left his hometown to life somewhere else. This remix is a relief, a relevation and a sign of leaving things behind. Crossing borders and going further.

PREMIERE | Das Ding - Marketing Strategies For Main Sequence Stars [Lustpoderosa] 2019

HALLE K - Ignoramus, recorded at a performance 1984, selfreleased on Tape in 1985 and now reissued on vinyl by the Zurich imprint @Lustpoderosa.

HALLE K is a multimedia project by Karl Steffen & Marcel Hollenstein founded in the early 80s in the east of Switzerland and since a while active again. With their early multimedial experiments and performances they where exploring their boundaries as artists in a time of massive political repression & important youths movement in Switzerland. Playing with different formats in unexpected moments, for example between concerts of other bands, they gained new possibilities of expression and musical freedom. As pioneers of swiss multimedia artists they where featured together with YELLO on a few pages in the book of Lurker Grand; Heute und Danach. They will play at Rhizom Festival Zürich this year.  

Lustpoderosa 006 Resist Entropy EP will be out in April.
