Laura Coch is a DJ, music producer, and visual artist based in the vibrant city of Mexico. In 2023, she embarked on the exciting venture of founding her own record label and a series of events called Global Harmony Traxx. Within her label, Laura has released her debut EP produced by COBEN8 and had the thrilling opportunity to collaborate with the legendary The Egyptian Lover.

Persistence of Vision is a deeply immersive electronic piece by Italian experimental composer Roberto Musci, released on the independent label Just Breathe. Known for his ethnomusicological approach and explorations across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, Musci brings a distinctive blend of ancient instrumentation and modern sonic textures.

Clocking in at 8 minutes and 46 seconds, Persistence of Vision is a meditative journey through layered acoustics and subtle electronic treatments. Traditional instruments such as guitar, tamboura, Tibetan bells, and angklung are interwoven with processed sounds, creating a rich, atmospheric composition. It’s both reflective and forward-looking, encapsulating Musci’s lifelong dialogue between past and future sound worlds.

For their inaugural release, London-based Vysyon presents Mercuri: an enchanting EP of enigmatic techno featuring work by Swiss artists @varuna4053 & @mateohurtadomusic.

Having developed their brand of abyssal club music through releases on Amenthia Recordings & their own imprint A Walking Contradiction, Varuna dive into the void on ‘Remote Pulsar’. Driven by a disorientating polyrhythm cloaked in opaque atmospherics, the trio’s otherworldly approach to sound design is on full display. By contrast, the pounding 4/4 kick & propulsive acid bass of ‘Uvez Echos’ entrance the listener into a state of dancefloor reverie.

Mateo Hurtado casts his own unique magic over the flip, showcasing his archetypal mystic sound established via an album on Annulled music & remixes for Space Drum Meditation. The mesmerising flute melody of ‘An Invisible Fire, Working In Secret’ casts a spell of hypnosis, while the flowing, amorphous pads & twisted bass of ‘The Eternal Mirror’ conjure visions of worlds unknown.

Aura Sonora returns with a second release to follow up the fantastic first one, this time it brings together two meticulous studio craftsmen, DYL & Tammo Hesselink. Their Moire Patterns EP kicks off with 'Pattern 1', a deep and rhythmic slice of rubbery techno that rides broken beats with atmospheric pulses up top. 'Pattern 2 slows down to a predatory crawl with icy pads making a dystopian vibe then 'Pattern 3' brings a sense of mystic tribal ritual deep in some futuristic jungle and 'Pattern 4' closes down with more fantastically crafted, dubby, broken rhythms that are topped with organic percussion and almost impossible not to move to. Pure rhythm science brilliance.

There’s something oddly comforting in the idea of a dead star still sending signals — distant, mechanical, yet somehow filled with meaning. Inertia, and the record as a whole, tap into that contradiction: the sensation of being impossibly far from home, yet still drawn toward something vast, unseen, and filled with memory.

While it may feel banal to visually represent what a pulsar in space looks like, the idea behind the cover is to reimagine that perspective — as if observing time and space passing by from inside a starship made of stone. The design draws loosely from sci-fi, Art Deco, and Moebius-inspired aesthetics.
