Blood flowers are wounded memories that refuse to let go

Blood Flowers is a heavy duty 4 tracker for the freaks. electro, dungeon techno, slinky acid and tribal excursion - properly damaged party starters for lowlight dreams and nightmares. Over the last 10 years, Mule Driver has been making special 808 day releases. This latest set is his most convincing effort to date, jumping from idea to idea but retaining a solid guideline of sci-fi weirdness and collapsing body movements.

on Unnamed War, maddening backward sounds are backed by a jumpy bass line and a heavy electro beat. Blood Flowers brings the hot middle eastern desert wind over tribal war rhythms, covering the poor drummers with burning sand. Those lost souls keep wandering aimlessly over a rumbling bassline in the Tunnels of track 3. Naqoura, the closing track, brings a hazardous grinding feedback, pounding bass drum and sword-like cymbals, topped with Fata-Morgana-synth-sounds that flicker a glimpse of hope.

Italian DJ and producer Gianluca Pandullo a.k.a. I-Robots has chosen six of his favourite Electronic Emergencies tracks to reconstruct. The second part of a collaboration after a digital-only compilation of EE tracks by the founder of Opilec Music in 2020, the six rigorous reconstructions on this double 12-inch are long, luscious, and full of energy. Move Like Rays by Machinegewehr was injected with a high-energy vibe, while Das Ding's Want Need was transformed into an electro classic. Skeleton Head's queer anthem Beaten, Bloody, Bruised was given the percussion treatment, Danza Obscura by Borgie got an Italo Wave twist, and New Wave legends Chris Davis and M/A/N/O/S had their tracks worked over by dubby electro and minimal techno. Electronic Emergencies reconstructed by I-Robots consolidates the label's frontier electronic underground reputation.

We have something special for our next release. Mickey Dagger, who previously released a track on our Spiral compilation, sent us a whole EP jam-packed with incredible remixes.

For his cover of the ‘80s kitsch track "I Want To Be A Cowboy,” he adds his signature dark and slightly sarcastic spin.
On the remix side, we have Antoni Maiovvi, who did a big room mix, Thomas Von Party, who made a breaky one, Ortrotasce, who contributed an old-school industrial/EBM version, and label head Facets, who was convinced by Mickey to provide his own take.

All the proceeds will be going to ISKWEU Project an indigenous women's shelter in Canada.

Curated with great care by label-head Letherique, this second opus digs deeper into the darker path previously set. Blissfully blending our notorious cinematic touch with a wide array of styles, Nebula Aranea #2 ranges from thundering Electro Body Music to languorous Darkwave and otherworldly experimentations.

Growing the Ursa family further, we’re proud to yet again welcome artists from very distinctive horizons:

· Arabian Panther and Frust (aka Blind Delon) from the boiling and ever-surprising Toulouse scene.

· The tenebrous dark madonna Lady Maru and Raw Culture’s maestro Asymmetrical from Roma.

· Geotropism (aka Cyclic Backwash), Akkadien (aka TeTTSUO and C.Ysme), and Orosirian (aka C.Ysme), three highly-regarded activists from the French free party movement.

· The mad scientist Cellarkalt (aka Snuffo) and John Carpenter’s secret son Balaban from Germany.

· Bella Ursa MVP and Dutch electro sensation Lloyd Stellar, along with Latvia’s devilish monk Cying Skies.

· And, of course, the line-up wouldn’t be complete without a few novel picks from Bella Ursa’s hometown, Strasbourg: Alpha Sect, Krauss, and Lethako, a new side project by Letherique and Itako.

It’ll be released digitally and on a beautiful laser-etched C-90 cassette tape.
