This tune started out as a simple groove made one Monday morning in the middle of lockdown in Melbourne. Since then, the SHOUSE project exploded and the tune has evolved as we have over years, touring dance floors around the world. We’ve slowly tweaked it at it in airports, backstage and hotel rooms… Finally, we got back home, threw a party with our choir and recorded a ecstatic chant on it which made it all make sense. Tonic is a tune to soundtrack the sunrise over dance floors in house parties, festivals and clubs. Any time people come together to groove and share life together. It’s about that primal feeling of communal ecstasy from dancing and singing together. It’s a gentle tonic to heal our souls. Love SHOUSE xx
