John Selekta has been DJing and scratching since the age of 10, playing clubs since 14. 2012 marks 21 years of club DJing.
Previous gigs include long running residencies in London, Manchester, Wales, Cheshire; notable gigs include Miami WMC and various clubs in Israel. He is Lee Martin's right hand man with the Breakspoll award-winning label, Dusted Breaks, and also runs Nitrous Records.
When DJing John spins mainly tech house, techno and breaks, but some occasional turntablism sets also see him scratch up funk/rare groove/disco/old school hip hop/you name it .
John also produces tech house and techno under the name SacredScience. A new project is coming too - any moment now...
Aside from all this John also runs a graphic design company, John Lewis Design Services. A busy man, make no mistake.

A former BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM resident, his impact stretches far beyond the DJ booth. He’s played a key role in major hits, including the UK number one KDA’s ‘Rumble’, while also delivering cutting-edge releases on Shall Not Fade, Hot Creations, E-beamz, R&S, and Unknown to the Unknown.

With heavyweight support from Peggy Gou, Bonobo, Gerd Jansen and Carl Cox, 2025 is shaping up to be huge. His Jungle and Breakbeat-Rave inspired album drops late in the year, and we can’t wait for what’s next.
