i'm loving the old school sampled break vibe of your drums in this

yeah i don't know what you were going for but i get a very "check out all these samples i just nabbed off these records" vibe which is really cool given that obviously you crafted your sounds to sound like this. kind of like a throwback to a dj shadow track or something

Cool track, interesting throughout, with nicely fitting sound choices.  I particularly liked this most melacholy bit with the gritty 'brass' .

OK, these sounds here are just delicious, this is my favorite part.

If I were scoring a film I would want this!

I really admire composers who can get a lot of emotion across with very few parts....  nice work.

This paints a mental picture for me... kind of bleak and depressing, but painting a mental picture is a very good thing!  Really have enjoyed this one.  And nice sounds and good restrained production!
