The Last Attraction is a musical thriller about the murder of the blues scale. Who did it? The guitarist, the keyboard player, or the bass player? Was it the drummer masquerading as a musician? Did the Edge do it and pay off TLA to be the fall band? Or was it a groupie trying to steal the songwriting royalties? Maybe it was the producer? What about the arranger-doesn’t the name say it all? Could it have been the tambourine-shaking background singers in league with the flautist? Don’t expect things to be neatly wrapped up. Like a classic Film Noir, the band is all about mood and setting but has more loose ends than a Raymond Chandler novel.

I’m a bilingual writer, Fulbright alumnus, Kohler Fellow and PhD ABD, with a minor in Creative Writing, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I also have a BA in Journalism (UCH-CEU, Spain) and an M.Sc. in Comparative literature (Edinburgh University, Scotland). Since I came back to Spain in 2015, I've earn my bread as a copywriter and tech writer. And sometimes I moonlight as a composer of popular music too: most of the music included in this page is of my own creation. My poetry has appeared in PEN International Magazine, Turia, Vulture Magazine and elsewhere. Warm and velvet is the mysterious sound of the Berlin based band Ann & Bones.  As a little girl Ann Weller was setting fairy-tales into music on her piano. Today she writes songs with a vein for melancholy and tender darkness.

The People's United Telepathic Improvisation Front - PUTIF - are Tomomi Adachi and Jennifer Walshe. Living and working at a distance of hundreds and sometimes thousands of miles from one another, once a week Adachi and Walshe choose a specific time to make an improvisation together. Unable to hear each other normally, they listen and improvise together telepathically, synchronising only their start and end time. Adachi and Walshe each make a recording of their own improvisation and these are mixed together afterwards. They consider these improvisations "trainings" for their guerilla telepathic activities.
