Beginning 2018 by remixing two of the industry's most revered talents in Nick Warren and Jerome Isma-Ae, Cid Inc now presents his first original project of the year. 'Abyss' is the hugely anticipated follow-up to the Finnish artist's chart topping progressive anthem 'Shifter'. A staple in the sets of Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren all throughout 2017, it sat comfortably as one of the genre's best by year's end.

From stripped, punchy beginnings 'Abyss' retains the progressive techno ethos Cid Inc. was instrumental in creating almost a decade ago. Encased in a crisp rhythmic shell, warm bass swells and machine gun cadence drive the foundation. The storyboard evolves with delicate melodic lines and impassioned overlays, eventually melting down into a euphoric break. As the melodies blossom an intensely emotive crescendo is reached as a soulful wail summons a powerful final act.

The companion piece 'From Within' finds Cid Inc. exploring dreamier textures and wistful sonic tapestries. Binding rhythmic flow with distinctive stabs and hypnotic arps makes for a sleek, meditative first act. A perfect prelude of sorts, as tasteful chord
changes summon melancholic motifs and hopeful pads, building subtly as a smooth rush embodies warmth towards a purring finale.

Sitting comfortably in the present, 'Abyss' maintains that timeless flair which embodies Cid Inc's work. Two striking tracks for the impending spring season and no doubt a look ahead to more exceptional music from the Finnish artist.

As Guy J's exceptional Lost & Found imprint reaches the milestone 50 releases, they look back at 3 moments which have made the label so successful. Bristling with talent, the label has showcased the amazing Israeli progressive scene like no other. First up comes long time friends and collaborators, Sahar Z and Navar with their 2017 smash, When We Face Reality re-edited by an inspired Khen. Deep, soulful and utterly beguiling, the melodies soar in melancholy wonder. Khen is the next artist to get the remix treatment, this time from Belgian superstar Hermanez. Focusing on Khen's incredible sound design, Hermanez builds a uniquely melodic groover from all manner of percussive sources. Finally, Luka Sambe's Sooti, here gloriously reimagined by Eli Nissan. The most uptempo of the trio, Eli weaves a nuanced tail with sweeping sonics, deep pads and cleverly orchestrated toplines.

Presenting his first project of 2019, Cid Inc. returns to Replug Records with 'Via Karelia'. 2018 saw the Finnish artist release two of progressive music's most widely acclaimed and sought after EP's in 'Bird Cherry' and 'Abyss'. The two track offerings yielded play and support from his most revered contemporaries, namely Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J. Resounding chart success followed, with the title selections respectively reaching #1 and #2 in the Beatport Progressive House Top 100 tracks. Now after months of road testing and refinement, Cid Inc. unveils his much anticipated 'Via Karelia' EP to kick off 2019.

With over a decade of production credits under his Cid Inc. moniker, Replug label boss Henri Hurtig has continued to flourish. Sitting in the upper echelon of progressive music's elite, the Finnish producer continues his story with 'Via Karelia'. Following a prelude of warm beats, hip swinging percussion and electric stabs, comes redolent rhythms and  juxtaposed motifs. Tastefully timeless and evolving with an energetic flair, it's a melodic theme which shifts the narrative further into euphoric territory. Free flowing harmonics add depth and emotion, coming to full fruition during the main break and elegantly peaking for a spirited final act.

Rounding out the release in fine fashion are the dreamy tech-vibes of 'Turning Pages'. Showcasing a similar rhythmic prowess to its predecessor, a tightly knit core and rugged stabs aim squarely for the dance floor, while an airy, atmospheric resonance delivers a subtle yet powerful emotional response. Irresistibly smooth and unquestionably evocative, it's seductive cadence pushes forward into an exquisite break, blanketed with glowing pads and iridescent phrasing, before ultimately melting down into a chugging finale.

In a year that has already provided progressive house fans with many memorable moments, Cid Inc. has once again stepped up and delivered what will certainly be one of 2019's most beloved releases in 'Via Karelia'.

Another big release is coming up on Last Night On Earth! There has been a really well flavored collaboration cooking for a while and it’s time to add this to the catalogue. Sasha has been building on a new scenery with Artche bringing their work to fruition on the new ‘Siren Chords’. The Manchester based producer Artche has been showing off his talent on labels like Eric Prydz’ ‘Pryda presents’ imprint and Lane 8’s ‘This Never Happened’ label, before embarking on this collaborative adventure.

The title track ‘Siren Chords’ started out in Sasha’s hands and made it’s way to Artche who got this track to the next level by adding his own flavours. The result is a journey of sound combining Sasha’s signature breaks with Artche’s beautiful vocals and melody work. Artche comments; ‘Growing up listening to Sasha’s live sets and productions have had a big influence on the music I make today, so to release a collaboration with the man himself is an amazing feeling and to release it on Last Night On Earth makes it all that more special.’

Alongside the title track there will be two original tracks by Artche featured on this EP by the names of ‘Split Open’ and ‘One Who Knows’, a perfect fit for the label. Artche’s signature sound really shines trough here incorporating his intricate vocal work and big melodic synthesizer lines. The full release will be out on August 21st.
