I Saw The Staircase (i Saw The Hall)

i asked FB humans to request a song of mine last nite and said  i would record 4 if them on the couch and post them. i ended up doing 10 and it was a fun freakin snapshot of my singing life. foolish sad robot, wilders, a trouble in mind rap, my mellow vocal stylings of this century, the VERY FIRST song i wrote (i was like 14?), etc.  most songs were the first take, a couple were the second...but that was it.  no agonizing, no fiddling around...just playing tunes and sending them out, warts and all.  not to many warts, to my happy surprise :)

this is the first tape by the nerdy lofi indie pop 1990s kansas city band The Young Johnny Carson Story.  the name of the tape is "nerd".  relentlessly assaulting good taste in the 1990s Kansas City coffeehouse circuit, they had a strangely large and strangely devoted group of fans that made every show a blast!  The Young Johnny Carson Story loves you KC...hope this brings back good memories.  (As a side note, the first song "Teriyaki Sue" is probably a bit tone-deaf for today's ears...i wrote it and my apologies for that).
