FATBACK BRASS BAND is a hip hop orchestra from Ghent, Belgium. The ten-strong band brings you primarily homegrown compositions with danceable beats, uplifting and often-atmospheric melodies. To finish it off, MC AftaWRDS drops in with clever rhymes. At first, by doing spontaneous street performances, and later having a try on some club --and festivalstages.

Expect a lot of love for the hip hop greats, as well as subtle and often complex compositions, which give any poppy rendition of the genre a run for its money!

Michiel Cnudde, geboren en getogen in het Westvlaamse Waregem, is ondertussen een vaste waarde in het DJ-cirquit. Aan zijn 15 mixte hij zijn eerste plaatjes in de lokale cafékes van Waregem en omstreken en binnen de kortste keren werd hij een graag geziene gast op fuiven en in clubs. Na amper anderhalf jaar sleepte hij de eerste plaats op een DJ-contest in de wacht, waarna er nog zes volgden. Door een onafhankelijke organisatie werd hij, gekozen uit 250 kandidaten, gekroond tot Beste DJ van Vlaanderen, waarna hij furore maakte in het zonnige Lloret De Mar.
Ondertussen, aan de bloeiende leeftijd van 37, speelt hij zowat alle grote Festivals en fuiven plat, en begint de producer in hem langzaam maar zeker ook tot leven te komen...

Mickie Jones is a Belgian DJ/producer with Polish roots who likes to spin & make different Electronic music styles. Once he starts a new record, you never know where it will end up....

It was hard to choose between techno and the more groovy/melodic aspects our electronic music industry has to offer these days. 
So he decided to make records without knowing in advance where the journey would go or what sound it would become. 

In this way, Mickie Jones wants to break with the usual norms, so you can find his identity in every record.

Everything you hear is self-made, every kick, percussion or synth is unique and self-designed. Music should come from the heart and not from the perspective that it should be today's sound.
