What a joy and bliss to see 70 people drawing live models in the beautiful trance of artistic self-expression!

In the last 30 minutes I added a special surprise: non-dying classical tracks including "Slap that Bass" by Ella Fitzgerald (!!!) in absolutely brilliant rework with a sparkle of electronica. Absolutely in love!

About this hybrid mix presented by HARMONIUSZ & KANIBAL, Harmoniusz says: "In this set, I combined Traktor with Ableton. For Traktor, I played from 4 channels using stems, while in Ableton, I used a drum machine and mainly drum samples across 8 other channels. I was accompanied by the brilliant saxophonist Marcin Kania, a.k.a. Kanibal. It’s a real pleasure to perform with such an outstanding musician." is a DJ and bass guitarist, and a member of the Krakow collective Egodrop. Starting his musical journey as a bassist, he eventually fell in love with DJing and has been performing since 2011.  Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Harmoniusz crafts precise, organized sounds that create a coherent musical journey. Primarily playing chillout in lighter variations, his sets often incorporate jazzy samples and influences from trip-hop and downtempo.  Obsessed with sound quality, he integrates advanced technology into his performances, using multiple tracks along with drum machines, keyboards, and sequencers, resulting in a relaxing yet reflective atmosphere.

NAAN @ The Seed | MoDem Festival 2024

Here we have it folks! From the darkest depths of Somerset, on Merv's home turf, a DJ set from the Heaven Stage, nestled in the wacky Shangri La area of the legendary Glastonbury Festival..The weekend was hosted by the king of chillout spaces, Mr Mixmaster Morris himself and we finally have here, some real evidence proving that Merv actually DID play an Ambient set once, in the Chillout Arena! When asked was he behaving and following the rules just because Prince Harry happened to be hanging out there that day, he replied gruffly ''who the fuck is Prince Harry? Never heard of him...''
