I love this, especially the dynamic swells! I actually didn't pick up on any awkward moments, the piece flows really nicely. It reminds me of Nils Frahms's "More" from his 'Felt' album.

One of my first experiments in algorithmic improvisation. Using an arpeggiator of sorts I've developed in Max/MSP, I control the dynamics and chord voicing with the angle of my iPhone, while using the mouse to select chords and alter the ostinatos that are looping. I haven't done any post-production on this, so it's not a composition but a raw, unvarnished improvisation, complete with awkward moments that don't really work and many more moments that I absolutely adore... I'm curious to hear what you all think!

In the Woods

Generation I is an interactive electronic music performance between a live improviser and ‘Generations’ algorithmic music system developed by the performer. This work continues the artist’s exploration of performing with reflexive music software where the musician’s performance fragments are captured, transformed and re-used as part of a generative musical accompaniment. In particular the Generation system evolves the captured fragments over time. The effect is a layered texture that transforms in subtle mays over time, reminiscent of the works of minimalist compositions from the 20th century.

"Preludes for piano" is a set of six pieces of which I composed with the intent of creating short contrasting movements - each displaying their own universe. Originally I had composed three preludes, but it was upon recommendation by my piano teacher that I attempt to compose more, from which another three preludes joined the set.

This is the second edition, full version of The Looking Glass, a contemporary dance suite by Judith P. Markovich, is a unique five-movement piece for 13 players: woodwind quintet, trumpet, bass, and percussion. The TITLE was inspired by the poet Dale Wimbrow who challenges us to listen to the guy in the mirror.
