For our first ever Exhume Premiere, we reached out to hip hop artist and producer Choker (@chokerchokerchoker) from Michigan. After listening to his first project entitled "Die Slow" which released early May 2015 we had to make contact for an exclusive release. His artistry is evident as you move through the EP with minimal galactic abstract beats, raw lyrics  and a taste of his singing abilities. 

"On & On"
In his exclusive premiere for Exhume, Choker delivers yet again. Focussing in on all his strengths from production, rapping, singing and writing, Choker jumps right out the gate and instantly starts flowing with confidence and playfulness. As the track progresses Choker fixates in on his ability to carry the listener through the remainder of the track using his raspy singing style and instrumental break with the catchy chorus of "On & On & On...

We had the opportunity to ask Choker a few questions and this is what we got in return.

"my name is chris. i'm 19, from all over michigan. i started producing about a year ago this month but i've been writing since elementary school. my influences are lauryn hill, melody's echo chamber, prince, imogen heap (especially the frou frou days), the hidden beach recordings unwrapped series, r. kelly, girls with pastel hair, beenie man, film/videogame soundtracks, fleetwood mac, nujabes & of course dilla. way too many to name haha pretty much anything that makes me feel like allen iverson in 2001."
