The Exit Records camp have been in alias mode of late, from the self-titled ‘The Binary Collective’ album to Kid Drama’s Mikarma album; new avenues for creativity have been secured via new aliases which brings us to Module Eight.
Five like-minded beat makers; dBridge, Kid Drama, Skeptical, Loxy and Resound- all revered in their own right, who decided to form a project that unified their individual tastes, a long player that makes statement about their tastes about Drum & Bass and how it can be viewed. 
As always with Exit Records the material is future forward in its aesthetic whilst the production is detail driven but always club ready.

Exit Records is at forefront of electronic music, constantly pushing the envelope in terms of aesthetic and execution.
Label owner dBridge strikes a careful balance between releasing music that serves a purpose for dancers and thinkers alike. The roster of artists involved in the label is allowed express themselves as they see fit with only one stipulation; pushing the genre forward.
The Exit Records club nights are typically riotous affairs- they stand as a mix of the most cutting-edge music crossed with a firm eye on the dancefloor, from stages at festivals to residencies at clubs across the world, the events are known to sell out.
As the label enters its 15th year of existence a confidence in sound and direction has come to the fore and this is what cements Exit Records as a go-to label for those inside and out of the genre.

A few years back, KONTENT began working alongside DJ & producer Joedan, creating the duo Two Tons, and subsequently gaining support from RINSE FM & Marcus Nasty. Soon after, their track 'Blow' was signed to Tumble Audio. 

More recently KONTENT has found his home at DASEPLATE's own label, Pondlife. His latest release, 'Clangers' VIP Remix & 'Ciggy Butt' give a nod to the classic Dubstep releases of old with clean wobbles and crisp studio drums heard in both, expect more big strides from this artist over the coming years.

Having had been involved with the electronic music scene in Winnipeg since 1995, Francis L, AKA Messmer, started mixing  Drum & Bass in 1997. His first gigs began at Concept in the second room of the Wellingtons Basement where he was recruited to join Feroza Saïd and Chris Spelay (R Cola) to  be a resident DJ at the Braemar Bakery under the collective of Dublab which included the likes of Not Half, Fanny, Venetian Snares and DJ Abel (Cain) in it’s roster. This weekly event evolved to a new location at Cloud Nine called Air Massive that featured Drum & Bass as it’s focal point. By 2000 he was the Promotor for a weekly Drum & Bass night at the Collective Cabaret. 

Messmer has performed with MC Demolition Man has the shared the stage with Dieselboy, MC Messinian, Gigantor, Freaky Flow, Keaton, Psi Dream, )EIB(, KJ Sawka, DJ Brace, Aphrodite, Venetian Snares, The Fix, DJ Crash & Slim Pickins to name only a few.

Other affiliates include the Winnipeg Jungle Crew with Turtle, Cookiemonster, Bombah, Dexx, Gumby, Riddim, SW@T, Whupass & Kstatic.

Messmer's sounds can be described as a toss up between the likes of Indy rock, punk rock, drum and bass, and an underground reservoir moving a the pace of a soap box Derby race, drawn in from the everyday life of a socialite who's experimented with a joker in his back pocket.
