Ayesha’s performances reflect a playful curiosity and a decade of experience honed in DC and NYC’s vibrant club and warehouse party scene. As a beloved resident at Nowadays, she weaves through percussion-based techno, breaks, garage, and everything in between, delivering heady, maximal body music tailored for the dancefloor. As a DJ, her style is eclectic and dynamic, drawing from North America’s techno underground, leftfield UK sounds, and her Indian heritage.

Ayesha is gaining recognition as a producer of forward-thinking club music. Her music, hypnotic, pulsating and powerful, is as fitting at a deep forest festival as it is in a sweaty basement or dark nightclub. It's crafted with meticulous sound design, spongy textures and alien melodies. She writes tracks with deliberate consideration for how bodies move – and how music moves bodies – making her work unusually tactile and physical.

Her 2021 EP, ‘Potential Energy,’ released on UK label Scuffed Recordings, marked the beginning of her rise. Subsequent releases on Fever AM, Control Freak, and contributions to NYC label Eto Ano’s ‘No Cash In Booth’ compilation further solidified her status. Her debut album, ‘Rhythm is Memory,’ released on Kindergarten Records in 2022, was lauded as “a revelation” by DJ Mag and “a fierce mission statement” by Resident Advisor. Mixmag placed her at number two on its list of the 25 Producers Who Defined 2023. 2024 saw Ayesha debut her live set at MUTEK Festival in Montréal to wide applause with her live show set to evolve into the coming year with firsts at Dekmantel as well as more TBA.

You don't mess around when labeling someone as a musical pioneer; it’s a dangerous path to tread. When it comes to the name DJ Nu-Mark however, it’s a safe bet.
As a Los Angeles native, Producer, Turntablist and member of the legendary Hip-Hop group Jurassic 5, DJ Nu-Mark is considered one of the most innovative on the scene. He continually showcases his expanding taste in music through live sets and dj streams where he displays rare covers, multi-track edits and performs his children’s musical toy set.
Nu-Mark ignited his career releasing Kanye West’s debut production with Chicago native, Grav on Correct Records while simultaneously producing the Jurassic 5 EP circa 1996. Nu caught solo acclaim with the drop of his industry celebrated Blend Crafters EP which featured his timeles cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine” and featured production for MF Doom. Nu’s debut LP, Broken Sunlight revealed his innovations into a jaw dropping collection of heartfelt music featuring Aloe Blacc, Quantic, Large Professor, Bumpy Knuckles, A-Skillz, J-Live
Tiron & Ayomari, and Charles Bradley.
It comes as no surprise when you see the list of coveted stages that Nu-Mark has performed on around the world, including Glastonbury and Coachella. As per his stellar reputation of being one of turntablism and sound design, Nu-Mark has also judged numerous DJ competitions including Red Bull Music Thre3style with Jazzy Jeff, DJ Craze, Skratch Bastid and many more.
You can also add in Nu-Mark's own label – Hot Plate Records, which has released a hoard of production collaborations, including his sought after Run For Cover LP in 2021 featuring Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band, Full Crate, Jungle Fire, The Traffic and more. Nu brought along Pharcyde’s Slimkid3 under the
faction TRDMRK on two albums featuring Del the Funky Homosapien, Diamond D, Darondo, Guilty Simpson, and Murs which shot to number one on the CMJ charts.
Nu-Mark's ongoing “Zodiac Tracks” is further testament to the fact that music is a life blood for this man. With his unwavering adoration of vinyl, the renowned collector pays homage
to pivotal artists by mixing them seamlessly in their respective astrological sign in live Birthday tribute videos. The project has been so successful that, after reaching millions of views, Nu- Mark teamed up with Method Man (Wu-Tang Clan) for an exclusive song to honor all the astrological signs in a song called “Zodiac Killah”.
Nu has a keen eye for musical evolution. Known for his trademark ability to conjure up sounds from the most bizarre of items, including a collection of children’s toys, late night talk show host and producer James Corden enlisted Nu-Mark to take on the role of in-house DJ for the hit TV show –
Drop The Mic.
To date, Nu-Mark has been featured in the critically acclaimed documentaries / motion pictures; Scratch, KeepinTime, Where We’re From, Coachella: The Movie, Rock the Bells, Popstar and MacGrubber. Kilma is carving out a unique space in the dance music cosmos. After years in the bass realm as Sw@t, she began to grow in new directions, exploring and finding new fulfillment in house, techno, and breakbeats. Truly great artists embrace reinvention, and Kilma’s metamorphosis is no different. While her love for bass and snares still shines through, it’s filtered through her passion for house and techno rhythms, making for sets that take the listener on a journey, destination inward. DJ Markie Gee has personified musical integrity and sophistication while resisting the idea that djs have to be record producers to be relevant. Gee cut his teeth doing local punk shows while distinguishing himself as a radio show host, club promoter and program/music director for several college stations in Connecticut. Helping to break acts like RuPaul, Tackhead, Nitzer Ebb and Living Colour fueled his passion for breaking new music. He has become one of the world’s most versatile programmers; a champion of deep house, soulful house, tech house, afro house, techno and electronica.

A chance meeting in 1987 with Tony Prince of DMC laid the groundwork for a future in house music. Gee became an influential dj and writer for Dance Music Report, MixMag, Thousand Words, Dance Music Authority and Alternative Press covering the house and techno genres.  Gee was a fixture in the NYC club and rave scene in the 80’s and 90’s learning the game at venues like Limelight, Sound Factory Bar, Palladium, Element, and Red Zone. Later Gee also learned about the touring dj business as a talent buyer and primary booking agent for Robbie Rivera and US tour manager for Darude. 

Gee’s sound and style is influenced by Tony Humphries, Jeff Mills, Kerri Chandler, Danny Tenaglia, Doc Martin, and Todd Terry. His live sets have their roots in disco, rock, funk, jazz and hip hop;  Gee’s held residencies in Boston, CT, Miami and NYC as well as headlined parties in Miami, London, Luxembourg, Montreal, Detroit, Providence, Vancouver, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Portland, Raleigh, etc, Djing the 2001 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration in San Diego was especially gratifying. No matter the crowd, rocking the party is the objective.

While most comfortable playing extended sets where he can take the crowd on a journey, Gee relishes opportunities to warm up for bigger djs and gain new fans. Gee maintains his global following on Casafonda Radio London “Notes From The Underground” every Tuesday and Friday as well as on DanceGruv.Net “Deep In The Gee Spot” every Saturday nite prime time. Currently Markie is performing live dates with The Doug Wimbish Allstars featuring Doug Wimbish (Sugar Hill Gang/Tackhead), Corey Glover (Living Colour) and Daru Jones (Jack White) and headlined 2 fundraisers for Bernie Sanders in NYC. His monthly residency in Brooklyn at The Rookery pairs him with his mentor Kris Bones (Genaside II/The Prodigy).
