Cello is probably my favourite stringed instrument to listen to at the moment, and when played with such a captivating touch that appreciation goes up another step. Beautiful playing.

🎵🎶 'I Walk With Ghosts' (Royalty-free music)🎶🎵
'I Walk With Ghosts' is a haunting, bittersweet neoclassical track featuring atmospheric synth blended with emotional strings. For me, it was an exploration of how we go through life with baggage that we all deal with in our own ways - ghosts of our past lives. It was heavily inspired by the artwork of Yun Ling, who creates wonderful works that often show a re-occurring character exploring a decaying, fantastical world. 

The track falls away at around 4:20, where I've added some manipulated recordings which add some reaching, contemplative moments before building back up for a final playthrough of the theme. I really enjoyed making this track, and I hope you all get something out of it for yourselves!

INTERSTELLAR - Beautiful Space Orchestral Music Mix | Epic Inspirational Sci-Fi Music

Let me first stipulate that I am not a minimalist :-) ...but after joining SC I have heard a lot of interesting music tagged as #soundtrack and became inspired to compose some music in cinematic style.  When I think of piano music in movie soundtracks elements of minimalism come to mind, and so that is the direction I decided to go--toward something simple, subdued, and mildly rhythmic--at least initially; I exercised some restraint in this track, but once I got the rhythmic arpeggios the way I liked them, I couldn't resist adding a bit of melody by way of turning it into a piano duet.  Perhaps “minimalist piano duet” is an oxymoron, so in the end I'm not sure if I succeeded in the original endeavor, but I hope some fellow non-minimalists may enjoy this "minimalism with a melody on top".

Fabian Boreck studied cello at the "Academy of Music Hanns Eisler Berlin" and the baroque cello Master at the "University of the Arts Berlin".
He is the associate Principal Cellist of the Oldenburg State Orchestra, Germany, as well as furthermore a professional baroque cellist.
On both instruments he pursues solo and chamber music activities, as well as Hi-Res-quality remote recording tasks.

Fabian Boreck is at home on the 'modern' cello as well as on the baroque cello.

By playing parallel since his early youth, he understands the advantages and the tonal characteristics of both instruments at the first attempt to implement and use. His repertoire ranges from the first compositions for bass instrument resp. violoncello of the 16th/17th century to classical and romantic music as well as improvisation. The latter makes him increasingly interesting for composers and music producers, as a result of which he is also active in areas of film music and electronic music. But he is also increasingly adding improvisation as programme items in solo concerts on the baroque cello.

Fabian Boreck covers a broad field through his cellistic activities, but it is personally important to him to put quality first without compromise.
