½ GOTT is the new EP and collaboration of Sneaker from Dresden/Berlin and Scannoir from Zürich, who share their love for EBM and Synth Pop not only when DJing but also when producing. In several nights and with the help of a decent group of instruments, they have evoked a series of tracks that can certainly be subsumed as New Swiss wave. This first record is entitled ½ GOTT and will be followed by GOTT in the foreseeable future! The tracks are little masterpieces in the matter of repetition with whipping drums and offbeat percusions. This must be the sound of a sunrise over the industrial area...

Lucy Cliché - Heady Duet

Out on Rotterdam's Electronic Emergencies, this dark experimental and downright nasty series of tracks are well worthy of your time but this remixed version of Vägskäl is so visceral and urgent that it should have a flashing light and siren on it's bonnet so that it can get to where it needs to and that everyone knows to get out of it's way. The fact that Grymt translates to both 'grim' and 'cool' give you some indication of where this track is on the PH Scale.

Romantic Fiction - the debut LP from Curses - is an honest musical expression drawing inﬂuences from his youth growing up in NYC in the 80s. References to new wave, post-punk, synth music and early EBM are skillfully merged with the DIY approach of punk and rock n roll angst. Brandishing an immersive sonic palette, all instruments throughout the album were played and recorded by the artist.
Exhausted by the current state of competitive dance music monotony, Romantic Fiction is a collection of songs, not DJ tools: songs that work at home, but also in the club should the right crowd beckon.
It’s about escapism and ﬁnding comfort in the unknown, fulﬁlling the empty void by embracing the mysterious. Darkness is a light undiscovered, not something to be frightened of.
Curses also invites friends who share a mutual love for incorporating post punk and new wave into contemporary electronic music. Perel delivers mighty Nina Hagen-esque operatic punk vocals on the ﬁrst single, 'Gold & Silber', whilst Dischi Autunno label boss Jennifer Cardini and Curses share a duet on the cold wave silk of 'Silence In The Dark'.
As an amalgamation of inﬂuences from multiple decades, Romantic Fiction is a deeply personal album, triggering a feeling that is unnerving at times, familiar and welcoming at others.

Opera Andromedae, a galactic adventure set in a distant star system lightyears away.  Slowly swaying, pulsing and desperate to make contact with you. 
Beatless and yet full of sound, tones and signals. Depending on what you read, Andromeda is the nearest galaxy to the milky way, she was also the daughter of Casseopia who subjected her to the wrath of Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, who sent a sea monster to ravage her as a punishment after her mother boasted of her beauty. Luckily she was rescued by Perseus and they all lived happily ever after!  No thanks to her gobby mum.
Mick Clarke is a man who has been reborn many times in many different universes.  Member of the often overlooked Naked Lunch, a band which heavily influenced Depeche Mode.  A band who played alongside DAF, Fad Gadget, Cabaret Voltaire and many other hugely influential electronic acts in a few short years.  Reborn as Iron Blu, part of the Intergalactic FM collective, Krautrock obsessive, founder of Flight Recorder records and co-founder of Weapons of Desire. A DJ with impeccable taste and with an analogue set up which would make Jean Michele Jarre blush. 
We bring to you one of three contributions to the 12 inch vinyl, 'In the Dark Again' which fuses his sensibilities of electronic pulses and gorgeous sounds.

On the B side, San Francisco based Dutch artist, Yobkiss, offers up a masterful remix taking the track into darker electro territory. His offering includes  haunting Japanese vocals by the producer’s long time collaborator Yuko Araki for added exotiqueness.
