JG Outsider (@jg_outsider) is not a newcomer in Electronic music. This veteran producer from Murcia has a long career that began in the 90s with the management of the Pink Records label, and continued as half of the duo "2rare People", which achieved great success in the 2000s, being strongly supported by artists such as Oxia or Carl Cox. Today he uses this new alias to produce music halfway between the most acid Indie Dance, Industrial, sometimes entering the melodic field. In this EP for Banshees Records (@bansheesrecords) JG Outsider shows his darker side focusing on industrial sounds, accompanied by remixes by Argentinian Skelesys (@skelesys)and 9 claws.

Scannoir & Sneaker, aka “GOTT”, explore, transform and mutate. This unique collaboration embodies the perfect symbiosis of passion. “Die Deutsch-Schweizerische Freundschaft” is still profound and continues to have an effect. Now the two exceptional artists present their latest work: GOTT – MUTATIO on the Zurich based label Mattoni Pazzi.

“Alles wird gut” was the motto of the occupied Wohlgroth-Areal in Zurich in 1993, where Sonic Violence was invited to the concert of their “Transfixion” album tour. Industrial beats, dark samples, guitar riffs and moshing punks dominated the scene. At the ticket booth there were CDs to take away: “Sonic Violence – Transfixion”!

A template that now, 30 years later, adorns this memory with the selected track “Malice” in a new guise. GOTT mutates the original into a dark hell ride.

Enter the realm of the Fields of the Nephilim! The guardian waits, a lifetime. Profound and melancholic, he is transformed by GOTT. Dark souls remain dark souls. Daringly and nevertheless tradition-consciously they march through the black terrain. Interwoven by GOTT, guarded by GOTT. Well – GOTT is the guard! One of the compilations of 2023 "Curses' Next Wave Acid Punx DEUX" saw the Berlin-based Musician and DJ explore the darker side of club music, bringing together 49 tracks that joined the dots between early Industrial pioneers, EBM legends, and Post-punk bands with some of the most exciting artists around today.
But it was not over, Curses still kept something special from his clubland's gothic vaults, and here is the encore "Next Wave Acid Punx DEUX - Secret Cuts", with 11 bonus tracks that all deserve their own moment in the strobe light, featuring the likes of Ghost Cop, Paresse, Nuovo Testamento, You Man, plus a new Curses track and Redux version, making Secret Cuts a worthy companion piece.

Whilst the world is on pause, we thought it be a good idea to showcase some works that have been moving us months before the lockdown kicked in. We wanted to share and replicate the same amount of electric vibrational emotions it initially had on us upon first listening to them, so the best way we could describe that feeling was by calling this VA series, Currents I. In this compilation theres some faces you know from the Power Station roster intersected with some soon to be Power Station release inductees, once this mess clears up obviously.
