R A S H lab is a sound project oriented towards musical research through various mixes released in the different Podcast series Also Inviting Various Talented Artists. Sound becomes our vital orientation. Our healing and liberation happens through electronic sounds of a futuristic folklore, woody like Steam Punk, Ritual like Techno combined with meditative textures.

Classe 1972 nasce e cresce a Vieste (FG) muove i primi passi già da piccolo ascoltando dischi che erano in casa dei genitori prendendo ispirazione da tutti i generi musicali dell’epoca. A 15 anni, inizia a muovere i primi passi in radio dove rafforza l’ispirazione per la musica ascoltando tantissimi dischi, inizia ad utilizzare i giradischi da subito preso dalla passione musicale inizia a comprare dischi del genere house e la prima techno e genere elettronico, era il 1989 ha l’occasione di farsi notare e parte la carriera da DJ ,subito dopo parte per il centro Italia e risiede tra Ancona ,Rimini e Riccione , inizia frequentare i locali piu belli della riviera Romagnola ,poi torna al paese in Puglia dopo 5 anni di cultura musicale di house e techno music, nel paese organizza sia da  solo che con colleghi le feste piu’ belle che ancora oggi ricordano tutti , facendo l’upgrade di conoscenze hardware di strumenti di produzione musicale tra controller e mixer di tutti i tipi  e poi riparte a 29 anni dove staziona tra Roma ,Milano e Udine compreso Trieste,Suonando ovunque nei locali piu belli e famosi,a 39 anni si trasferisce a Roma e qui affina le idee musicali e la tecnica di miscelazione qui inizia a frequentare gli ambienti techno e conosce tantissima gente del settore tra dj e produttori ,nel 2017 produce il primo EP Experience. A 50 anni decide di tornare a Vieste dove tutt'ora e attivo continuando a occuparsi di musica  e’stato  uno dei dj di AREA JEKO.

Biography
Empirical as a hard sip spilling from a discharged battery. There is always a nihilistic fetish in these youngsters dealing with technology. Stefano Martino, aka R A S H, is never hiding this darkest side in his composition. His machinery becomes a ritual object within which his human state becomes an algorithmic begging of change making its appearance at warm 50 hertz complacency.

His sound exploration is elaborated through decadent, post-industrial soundscapes inscribing the full failure of a consumer society which noise becomes an evidence whilst its awareness is modelled, reworked within a dystopian hexavalent chromium taste, blended into the future.
