Inspired by her dedication to hard kicks and gloomy melodies, zikade travels between Techno, Electro and Acid, with occasional sparks of Trance, EBM, and Industrial appearing. Her sets always strive to be connected less by genre than by atmosphere — dark but groovy, melancholic but sexy. 
zikade is a resident for SLIME and part of the female:pressure network. In 2023, she produced a monthly radio show called Center Shock.

For a while now, @dj_boney_s and @zikade-x have been playing with the idea of merging their respective sounds. It wouldn’t be the first time these two share the decks, though: Under the name of @dj-frottee , they recently started a vinyl only project dedicated to classic 90ies underground from techno to trance.
 
Finding the spaces where their individual sets collide, their new vinyl only back2back project Hypnotist will be a journey from techno, EBM and industrial to dark italo and disco-heavy electro. Sharing a deep understanding of the other one‘s musical taste and a similar vision for the dance floor, Hypnotist are excited to create something fresh!

Hey, I'm Juan, a musician who’s equally obsessed with classical music and electronic beats. There’s just something about how techno plays with rhythm and harmony that pulls me in like nothing else.

I feel most alive when I’m outside my usual concert venues, especially when I play in Berlin’s underground techno clubs. Those spaces really trigger my creativity.
