The response to this collaboration around a childhood memory has been fantastic. Obviously many of our listeners have been reminded of their own childhoods and memories have been brought to life.
One of them is "Peter" a very talented poet and songwriter and also a very good friend of David Dunham, and now also to me. ;)
He wrote, a very beautiful poem for our song, so now it is incorporated and we therefore make an updated publication of the song. With his lyrics and reading, Peter has added another dimension to this beautiful warm memory in addition to David's fantastic guitars. ;)

More vivid than this, it is difficult to present a memory. So I thank these talented and cheerful friends for an unforgettable musical journey. ;))

My sanctuary from archive gleans
The gentle times, wherein my mind
Recalls a childhood spent in dreams
Of bobbing boats on ocean spied.

Here, the call of a benevolent sea
The briny, perfumed honesty
Of adolescent memories.

But whence this salty desert sea
Where once the skinny trawler plied?
Plastic water ocean streams
Where finny, swimmy fish should lie.

Silenced of the chuggy motors
Decimated by their quotas
Where the haddock, cod and herring bloaters?

The factory ships that hoovered clean
Of scaly friends the sea main wide.
Its cheaply speckled high protein
Squandered as the herring gull cried.

Where the fishers, where the boats?
Where the nets, and yellow rubber coats?
Where the pots, and lines and corky floats?

...wherein my mind
Recalls a childhood spent in dreams
Of bobbing boats on ocean spied.
Why, they set sail for the past it seems,
Upon tomorrow's ebbing tide.

I appreciate all the comments, likes and repost that you leave me in my compositions.

I make music for fun and to get away. I have multiple styles, although my biggest influence is in electronic music.

I am self taught and learned with Music Studio 2 on a first generation ipad 11 years ago. I have never composed before. Perform more than 80 songs a year for the first 6-7 years to learn about the program and develop creativity to compose. I have listened to different types of music throughout my life and maybe that has helped me.

I still compose only with an ipad (last generation), but I no longer work only with native MS2 instruments since I have expanded my instrument library with programs such as Audiokit, Digital D1, kv331, Sunrizer, etc ...

My music can be downloaded, but not used for commercial purposes (my authorization is required).
