I few weeks ago I heard this track https://soundcloud.com/mahan-mahan/disco-junkies-1-1-1 and was just floored, mostly by that bass line. Anyway after https://soundcloud.com/mahan-mahan and I had enjoyed each others music and exchanged some ideas and pleasantries Mahan came to me with the Idea of me covering a song by his former band The Toxic Daisies. I think he'll post the original as a public track again but for now the link he provided to me is private. The original is from the 90's(I think) and in a punk/grunge style. I shifted it into a sort of 60's pop and altered the harmonies just a bit but stayed true, for the most part to the original chords, arraignment, tempo and tried to use the exact lyrics as I heard them. It's a wonderful song and a couldn't be more flattered that Mahan asked me to recreate it.

Summer Storm

Its blowing a gale
and my ship set sail,
Left me here on the docks.
I should be counting sheep,
but i'm just watching the clock.

This mind don't rest,
I try my best to gently 
shut it down.
Seems i'm stuck while the wheels 
are spinning around...
