Long time collaborators Father Funk & Bear Twists team up for their first EP release as a duo, 4 tasty cuts of medical grade funky bass music, seamlessly blending the sounds of funk, disco and hip hop with the more modern sounds of glitch hop, garage and drum & bass. These are tracks for the dance floor as well as the home listener - just as bass driven as they are driven by their musicality and soul. The “Disco Biscuits” EP has the energy and charm of the pairs notorious bootlegs (played by DJs all over the world) but this time more instrumental, with fresh production, live instrumentation and a more varied sound palette. It’s an exciting change for these two Bristol based producers.

Reya is the founder of Let's Dance Sheffield, Ecstatic Dance Peak District, and co-founder of Ecstatic Dance Sheffield. An experienced facilitator and DJ, as well as massage therapist and yoga teacher, she brings a love of movement, sound and community to every gathering. Her work is inspired by nature and embodiment practices, and her studies with the Mayan Yokotan Cacao traditions in Mexico. Reya holds Cacao circles, Ecstatic Dances and workshops in and around Sheffield and the Peak District, UK. Her events are conscious, free-moving, non-judgemental, safe spaces for you to fully express yourself in the present moment. ‘Ecstatic’ here does not solely refer to extreme happiness (which may happen!) but also to the sense of transcendence that can often accompany these dance journeys. There is no expectation to feel or look a certain way, no end goal.  Reya is passionate about creating a space where everyone can feel at ease dancing mindfully and messily!
