Shhhhh is a Tokyo-based DJ and sound explorer, known for his unique ability to merge diverse musical styles into a seamless, genre-defying groove. With a deep appreciation for world music, he crafts dancefloor experiences that blend ethnic rhythms with cutting-edge electronic sounds. Beyond DJing, Shhhhh is an active music writer, collaborator, and advocate for cultural exchange. He was involved in the extended collective surrounding Japan’s legendary band Boredoms, supporting their tours and occasionally DJing for them—a formative experience that continues to inform his rhythmic and experimental approach. Since fall 2018, he has been a resident DJ at The Observatory, a renowned club in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 
In 2025, he expanded his international presence with performances at Bali’s Klimax, two tours across the United States, and a notable appearance at Making Time ∞ in Philadelphia.
His international presence continues to grow through his contributions to radio platforms such as Worldwide FM and NTS, The Lot Radio as well as his performances at major festivals and underground events worldwide.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he produced the Gamlan Mix ( ja.ra.co/news/76734 ), which was selected by Resident Advisor and featured as Mix of the Day. As a lineup advisor for EACH STORY (www.eachstory.net), he curates sonic experiences that push boundaries and foster artistic collaboration.
His festival appearances include  Mindgames presents Labyrinth 2024, Future Terror, Rainbow Disco Club, rural , and more.
