Going up? 

The inspiration to do this mix got pretty much initiated when I was thinking about the progress over the technological revolution what humanity has witnessed over the last few millenias. The outstanding effort to evolve as species through knowledge is what gives a promising framework of potentiality for mankind's future. 

But not without setbacks and heavy burdens when it comes to these dramatic changes in the climate that we've boosted and set in motion, and thus becoming the biggest challenge we must overcome. It's a long, bumpy road, We must take to succeed!

This mix was also very much build and motivated with the visionary images from the futuristic skyscraper city landscapes and then continued even further to the space exploration and thus the overall idea of humanity's potential trough science and technology as - a new hope to thrive!

Starting from a bit melancholic atmosphere in a rainy midnight neon city lights and building it to a new dawn filled with uplifting excitement and emerging new hope with awareness that not even the sky's the limit for human race(s).

Gościem szóstego odcinka naszych podcastów jest Deepbass. Urodzony w szkockim mieście - Glasgow, producent głębokiego, mrocznego i atmosferycznego techno.
Muzyczną pasję rozwijał od najmłodszych lat, wolne chwile spędzając w sklepach z płytami winylowymi poszukując nowych brzmień. To właśnie w tych miejscach ukształtował się jego charakter i gust muzyczny, gdzie największą uwagę przykuła głównie twórczość Speedy’ego J i Jeff’a Mills’a. Osobliwe i charakterystyczne brzmienia spowodowały zmianę w jego postrzeganiu świata muzyki techno. Ukształtowany konkretnymi brzmieniami stworzył swój własny, minimalistyczny, pełen ambientowych elementów i hipnotycznych rytmów styl. 
W roku 2010 otworzył własną wytwórnie – Informa Records. Ten personalny projekt stał się owocem i drogą do wyrażenia siebie i odkrycia nowych przestrzeni muzycznych. Po 4 latach istnienia, Informa Records stała się energicznie rozwijającym labelem, w którym swoje materie dźwiękowe wydali min. Modern Heads, Cio D'Or, Mark Broom, Edit Select, Echologist, Ness, Hironori Takahashi i nAX_Acid.
Twórczość samego właściciela labelu Informa, ukazała się za to w wytwórniach takich jak: Soma Records, Dynamic Reflection, Aconito Records and Planet Rhythm. 
Występujący na całym świecie artysta cieszy się popularnością i uznaniem w świecie muzycznym, na co dowodami są niewątpliwie występy w jednych z najlepszych klubów na świecie – Space na Ibizie i Berghain w Berlinie.

EN: Deepbass was introduced to the scene in 2009 his music is best described as deep, dark,atmospherical techno.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland. His passion for electronic music started from a young age where he would spend his weekends in record stores searching for music, he discovered artists like Speedy J and Jeff Mills who really opened his eyes to the world of techno. He started producing music in 2008 and from there his sound evolved, always minimalistic, elements of ambient, hypnotic rhythms and deep rolling bassline's. In 2010 he launched his label Informa Records as a platform to express himself and to explore further into his brand of deep techno.
The label is going strong has now had to opportunity to work with artists such as Modern Heads, Cio D'Or, Mark Broom, Edit Select Echologist, Ness, Hironori Takahashi, nAX_Acid and many more high quality artists. Deepbass has had a string of releases on some great labels such as Soma Records,
Dynamic Reflection, Aconito Records and Planet Rhythm
He has a number of live shows and Informa showcases under his belt which have takenhim to some of the worlds best clubs including Space, Ibiza & Berghain, Berlin.

This weekend in New York we celebrate Labor Day with the Aphotic and Dirty Epic party at 407 warehouse in Brooklyn. It’s a 22-hour techno showcase with a massive lineup. I’ll be performing at 8am after Regis, Raiz, Dimi Angelis and many others.

Bio:
Dorian Gray (aka Moreno from Italy) takes his name from the infamous Oscar Wilde character who trades his soul for an eternal life of sinful debauchery. And indeed the heady world of underground club music can sometimes feel like this! The intensity of this dark concept is expertly weaved into the deep techno sound of Dorian Gray where Moreno keeps a strong focus on meticulous ambient loops moving into hypnotic techno rhythms. Moreno’s early influences hark back to the dark electronic 80s new wave sound but there are also jazz influences which have helped him coin the descriptive term of “afro-futurist techno”. Production work aside, (noteworthy his last outing with Edit Select Remix), Moreno firmly states that his first love is DJing where he continues to push forward, proving his talent through winning competitions and taking on various booking across Europe, in his native Italy and trips to his home from home, Berlin. Among the Labels on which he produces there are Android Muziq (AUS), Circular Limited (ESP), and many others.

Nima Khak - Dj and Producer, born in Iran but grew up in Stockholm, Sweden with the rich flora of prolific labels coloring the soundscape of his productions. Today he is a fixed point in Stockholms nightlife with a long standing residency at Gallery 2.35:1 Berns. He also manages the clubs in-house label 1:53.2.
His productions are raw, analogue and deep techno with the sight set firmly on the dance floor. With releases on labels like H-Productions, ISL and productions together with Jesper Dahlbäck and Cari Lekebusch he has been pinned as one to keep an eye on from the new generation of Swedes.

In 2014 Nima Khak started the label Sand, which focuses on releasing his own productions.

Was einst im Wohnzimmer des gebürtigen Sangerhäuser's als Liebelei mit dem schwarzen Gold und entsprechender Technik begann, ist seit den letzten 17 Jahren zu seiner Passion geworden. Experimentierfreudig gestaltet er seine Sets jedes mal neu und begeistert die tanzende Meute durch seine Performance.

Inspiriert durch den Sound von Kleinschmager Audio, Dapayk und Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner perfektionierte und spezialisierte der gebürtige Sachsen-Anhalter seinen Style und entwickelte das Gefühl und nötige Gespür, das seine Sets so einzigartig macht. 

Neben Clubauftritten in deutschen Großstädten und im europäischen Ausland, wie der Schweiz, begeistert Jens immer wieder auf's Neue bei Festivals wie dem Helene Beach Festival oder dem Sterne und Bass Open Air, um nur einige zu nennen. Er spielte regelmäßig in Berliner Clubs - wie dem Sisyphos oder Tresor.

Seit 2006 produziert er eigenhändig Tracks. Mit Veröffentlichungen wie Leave the Dream, Do Not Stand, Panopal, Back Again, Funny Face, Notion, machte er auf sich aufmerksam. Die 2015 erschienene Super EP, in Zusammenarbeit mit Alfred Heinrichs, war wochenlang ganz oben in den Beatportcharts vertreten. Nebenher widmet er sich zahlreichen Remixen. Mit seiner Musik möchte Jens die Menschen begeistern und ihnen ein unvergessliches Vergnügen auf der Tanzfläche bereiten. Neben dem Suicide Circus in Berlin konnte er in zahlreichen Clubs in ganz Deutschland das Feiervolk für sich gewinnen.

Auch in diesem Sommer ist er wieder ein fester Bestandteil des Helene Beach Festivals und wird 2016 mit diversen Releases, erneut seine Fans begeistern. Jens Lewandowski war über 4 Jahre festes Mitglied der Supdub-Crew Berlin und wird seit 2016 von der Künstleragentur Musikalische Feinkost® vertreten.Tracklist:

1. Hey ihr 2 - hier könnte jetzt eure Biografie oder auch ein cool formulierter Pressetext von euch stehen, steht aber nicht ;) Wie würdet ihr einen dieser beiden Punkte in nur einem zusammenhängenden Satz formulieren?

Mit Techno in all seinen Facetten herangewachsene Herzblutmusiker aus dem Berliner Umland.

2. Wann hattet ihr eigentlich euer erstes Mal? Ähm besser gesagt in welcher Situation habt ihr das erste Mal bewusst an einem Mischpult gestanden?

Wir beide haben im selben zarten Alter von 15 Jahren angefangen aufzulegen. Allerdings sind da ein paar Jahre dazwischen, weil wir unterschiedliche Jahrgänge sind.

3. Wo hat für euch Musik ihre Grenzen?

Kulturell hat Musik keine Grenzen. Das wäre auch fatal, weil Musik das Einzige auf der Welt ist, was jedes erdenkliche Gefühl im Zuhörer auslösen kann. Die immer stärkere Kommerzialisierung der elektronischen Musik ist aber auf jeden Fall für uns eine Grenze, die wir nicht überschreiten möchten.

4. Wie würdet ihr eure Musik charakterisieren?

Man hört in unseren Produktionen und auch in unseren Set's sehr stark wir herkommen. Da wir die Minimal Welle in vollem Umfang von Anfang an miterlebt und bestritten haben, sind wir musikalisch in dieser Ecke zu finden. Aber bitte jetzt nicht die Minimal Charts bei Beatport hören - das ist nämlich ganz weit weg von dem, was
es mal war, was es sein sollte und was es auch auszeichnet.

5. Was denkt ihr, wie findet die Musikindustrie Talente?

Es ist oft Zufall: Der richtige Sound an der richtigen Stelle zum richtigen Moment. Unser erstes Release auf Moonplay Records entstand jedenfalls so. Aber wie das bei den Big Playern funktioniert, möchten wir uns glaube auch gar nicht genau vorstellen :)

6. Welche Rolle spielt Performance-Musik heute? Bzw. welche Rolle spielt sie für euch?

Das kommt auf die Definition von einem selbst an, denn letzten Endes sind wir Entertainer. Wie das „Entertainment-Programm“ vonstatten geht, ob ich dabei nen großen Mickey Mouse Kopf aufhabe oder nackte hinter dem Pult stehe oder halt auch einfach nur die Musik für sich sprechen lasse, ist glücklicherweise jedem selbst überlassen. In den Zeiten wo DJing aber immer leichter wird, sollte man schon drauf achten, dass man nicht Jogi-Löw-Style in der Nase bohrt während des Set's.

7. Was sind eure 3 häufigsten Gedanken beim spielen bzw. wenn ihr gerade auflegt?

Christian - "Heute läuft's" "Ich brauche was zu trinken" " Wo ist die Zeit schon wieder
hin"
Stefan - " Nicht verreißen" "Vielleicht kommt der nächste DJ nicht und wir können länger machen" " Trinken ist schon wieder alle"

8. Thema DJs und ihre gewissen Markenzeichen ... welches ist eurer
Markenzeichen?

Uns gibt es ausschließlich im Doppelpack. Ich weiß aber nicht, ob das wirklich ein Markenzeichen ist. Sollten wir uns eins zulegen? Krasse Lasershow, Puppentheater, Roller-Disko - that´s it. Danke für die Inspiration :)

9. Habt ihr schon mal was von den 12 klassischen DJ-Posen gehört?

Ja, na klar. Wir würden uns irgendwo zwischen dem Pointer und dem Cowboy einordnen xD.

10. Viele Wege führen ja bekanntlich nach Rom, welchen Weg werdet ihr weiterhin für eure Zukunft einschlagen?

Man sagt auch, der Weg ist das Ziel. Welcher Weg das sein wird, möchten wir nicht festlegen. Frei nach dem Motto: Allet kann, nüscht muss. Wir arbeiten sukzessive weiter im Studio und auf der Bühne und freuen uns über jede Möglichkeit, unsere Musik in die Welt zu tragen. Achso und Rom soll nicht das Ende sein danach geht es
auf jedenfall noch weiter.

Jenny Arredondo is a true Techno enthusiast. A music and dance-floor lover. A crazy healthy raver that would dance for hours and hours to proper Techno beats and bass. She is known as the "Dancing Queen" in the underground NYC Techno scene and around the world. Her passion for music has no limits; she has music in her blood.
 Jenny's music exploration journey began in 2012, and she plays and produces Deep Techno, Ambient and Electronica under the names "Headliner" and "La Guru". Her album "Techno Inquisition" was released on November 16th 2013 and her second album “Ubiquitous” was released on December 28th 2014. Her release "Dark Invader" was included in the compilation REGENERATION by the Spanish label Doppt Zykkler//Series on June 15th, 2015. Her track Headliner - Planck Epoch was included in the (DE19) Deep Diversity Vol. 3 - Deep Electronics Compilation released on November 5th, 2015. Her first EP "Rose Red Wounds" was released on July 16th 2021 also on the dutch label Deep Electronics. Her latest release "A New Hope" was a contribution to the Mastoid Kollektive - PINK in support of breast cancer and was featured along other tracks by amazing techno and house legends.
 She organized underground techno events in New York for almost a decade and also hosted events in Detroit, Mexico City, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Playa del Carmen. In 2015, Headliner also became part of Female Pressure, an international network of female artists in electronic music and digital arts founded by Electric Indigo. You will often find her listening and discovering new tracks and artists, also at Techno events having the time of her life.
