I would say this is like a crossbreed between Motörhead, The Runaways, Crucified Barbara & American Hardcore like Crumbsuckers. Being quite young and not that technical skilled this band does not sound quite like a well-oiled machine, yet that is at the same time their strongest weapon. What they do is unusual and exciting in the sense that they do things other bands would not think of. Probably out of incompetence but the enthousiasm and originality makes up for that. Big time. It rocks alright. 

I loved this demo tape right away when I firts herad it in 1995 and I still do. Simply because there's nothing like this demo. The lyrics are awesome as well, to the point, quite aggressive and obnoxious at times, dealing with subjects any 17 year old has to deal with. Feeling misunderstood, an outcast, facing troubled relationships and having to deal with the crap from peers at that age. Quite punky and rebeling.

Annemarie Blokland's lead vocals are voracious with a bite at times, she nearly grunts as brutal as the death metal dudes but switches often between that and a clear melodic voice. In one sentence as well, the way she brings it adds to the mood the lyrics are portraying. I love this about this demo. 
The drums and guitar are not matured and sometimes fall behind a bit but it's not that big of a deal. It makes everything loose and alive. I never heard anything from them ever again and I have no idea how long they have exsisted. A shame because I would have loved to watch them grow and take on the world.

FM EINHEIT (EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN) / ANDREAS AMMER 'Hammerschlag' CD (CSR281CD)

"Hammerschlag" - created by FM Einheit (member of Einstürzende Neubauten early 1980's to mid-1990's), with Andreas Ammer -  features many percussive industrial elements and 'machine music' (chains, scraping, coiled springs, objects), noise, experimental electronics and provocative musical compositions familiar to the ears of Neubauten fans. An oratorio with prelude and two noise interludes, based on Russian futurist Aleksej Kapitonovič Gastev, the "bard of the machine age".

FM Einheit (Mufti) is an industrial and electronic musician and actor, primarily known for his percussion and compositional work with Einstürzende Neubauten, notably on the classic albums: "Kollaps", "Halber Mensch", "Haus Der Luege", "Tabula Rasa" and "Ende Neu". 

He played the lead role in the 1984 feature film Klaus Maeck's "Decoder". He has also collaborated with musicians such as: Diamanda Galás, Eraldo Bernocchi, Mona Mur, KMFDM, Goethes Erben and many more. Andreas Ammer has been creating works with FM Einheit since the early 1990’s.
