The first release of the year from Hot Trax comes from the German duo Raumakustik, with Jamie Jones on remix duty. Having had recent releases on a Grain Audio, Ipoly & Mangue Records, “Raider” is their debut on the Hot Creations subsidiary.

Raumakustik deliver a high energy and rhythmic track with ‘Raider’. The industrial tech-heavy sounds are perfectly mixed with catchy drums and a calling bell. Over on the B-side, Jamie Jones delivers a darker remix to drive music lovers to the dancefloor.

Sebastian and Volker are Raumakustik. They have been creating music together for a number of years and believe in creating tracks that will not only bring listeners to the dancefloor but also stay in their memory.

Jamie Jones launched Hot Trax in 2012 after wanting to create a label that moved away from the well-known and popular sounds of Hot Creations. It has been described as a label for the “headstrong” with previous releases coming from Patrick Topping and wAFF.

TWR72 is back with a full new story starring Lucid as the lead. Lucid dropped out of space on a world called planet earth. It's luminous and vivid appearance were instantly clear. At first Lucid was a bit reserved but during it's first steps it opened up and showed some colorful emotions and hints of it's personality. With detailed patterns of communication Lucid tried to find a way through this new world. Erudite, which was already for a more prolonged time on planet earth, picked up the incomprehensible code from Lucid and reproduced it into a solid and clever message. Erudite was keen enough to think of a way to communicate back with Lucid as it noticed Lucid needed help. But it needed someone else to bring the message to Lucid. So Erudite asked help from Colloquial who could easily transcript the message back to Lucid. Colloquial used different types of frequencies to connect to Lucid, but it wasn't that easy. Lucid already travelled further and was hard to reach. Therefor Colloquial tried to use heavier elements to make a more solid composition. Unfortunately not only positive things arrived from space. Aporia was a rather negative influence which disturbed the link between Colloquial and Lucid. Aporia tried to force the communication by continuously changing the elements of the message. But it wasn't all that bad, because at the end Aporia brought the two important elements of the message together.

The album contains the first ever publication of 'Heiraten''s 7 inch version. 
The band from Hannover was originally formed in 1980 and released their first album 'Zum Teufel mit dem Kamel' in 1982. During this period they also recorded a second album, which, however, was never published. Some of the tracks on the record originate from this album which were restored jam sessions on tape. The complete TWR72 - Lucid release wasn’t enough so it gets a remix treatment by Psyk, Henning Baer, ROD, Neznan and TWR72 itself. 

Psyk kicks off with a tom based space out remix of Lucid. Heavy soundscapes and pads are layered over the fine rhythm of toms. Henning Baer takes care of Aporia with a weird metal loop kinda vibe and a straight forward beat rhythm to keep the speed. TWR72 gave Colloquial a groovy treatment. With minimal, filtered and slightly oldskool elements they changed the original parts into a little killer. Talking about minimal, on the flipside ROD delivers greatness on Lucid with his cut and slide technique. Neznan closes the EP in style; because his style is impeccable. When you thought you’ve heard it all, Neznan jumps in. An experimental take on Erudite is what you get. And like always, there are hidden messages in his music.
