After the big success of Nu New Beat Vol.1 & 2, Fauve decided it was time to release Vol.3 and also to switch it up a bit.

Frederik Neu and Jakob Mäder teamed up for the good stuff and created a new track, ready to get played on your favourite dance floor. The two producers created this track titled "No Clue" in summer 2023 and it now gets a release on the new label Burning Synths, which is curated by Jason Core. A mixture between Indie Dance, House, quite some layers of percussion and here you go. That ain’t enough for a proper release. So please welcome Nonduality on the remix duties: The Berlin based producer and DJ twists "No Clue" into a forward thinking House groover.

FEINSTOFF PREMIERE: Jakob Mäder & Frederik Neu - No Clue

Modula is proud to present its sixth release, "YAR Remixes", the remix of the original album by Voltage Controlled Illusion, the label's founding duo with Flamme and Yerno Vil as protagonists.

While the original contains the traces that mark the label's sonic direction from its foundations, composed through machines in an artisanal process of sound design, sequencing and arrangements, YAR Remixes is the work of ten creative minds that reformulate the narrative, functional and expressive character of each track.

We bring you an album that has been dissected, reworked and reinterpreted by huge international artists carefully selected to expand the sound spectrum of YAR. We have the presence of Álvaro Cabana (Rotten City Records), Playa del Karma (Logia Records), Tucu (Tucu) (Katarsis Electrónica), Cosmosolar (Modula, Phisica), Vleks (Chaos Candance), Ricardo Ruben (Playground Records), Perrone (Disco Halal), Prinze (Epicure Music), Gueva (Jeahmon, Phisica) and Mistery Kid (Femnoise Records).

Each of them develops a natural appropriation, turning each of the album's sonic insignia towards diverse aesthetic destinations that include traces from acid house to industrial techno, all based on the original indie dance retro character of the progressive school.

- label's bio:  Founded in 2023, Modula is an electronic music label with a unique proposal in the Buenos Aires music scene. His sound aesthetics can be associated with indie dance, dark disco or melodic techno, but the fundamental essence of his music is the conditions of its production: the use of analog synthesizers, sequencers, rhythm machines and other hardware devices that they use the artists that belong to the label to produce and perform their music. That is where Module finds its identity. The sound exploration, the aesthetic search and the time dedicated to these artisan processes of composition and completion of the music differ from the current accelerated processes of electronic production and place the label's participants on the radar of artists who stand out for the use of these instrumentals and the curatorship of said music.

SPÆCIAL PREMIERE: V.C.I. - Pater (Cosmosolar Remix) [Modula]

The prolific Mexican platform Nativo adds another treasury to its shelves of precious gems: Prince Terrible & Maligna Trash remixed (twice) by none other than master Roliva (SXDNS379), the label honcho himself.

With acclaimed works published on some of the most vital imprints of the Indie Dance/Dark Disco spectrum such as Dogs & Vultures, HEARec, Roam, NEIN, Controlla, Duro, and Nativo itself, just to name a few, Roliva is one of the most prominent artists of the scene not only because of his production capabilities, but also due to his vast creativity.

Prince Terrible, in turn, has been shaking the dark side of music with his energetic sonority and imposing personality. For his “Mano De Gloria”, he teamed up with Maligna Trash, a key figure in the Culiacán’s Drag circuit, to deliver a theme that “moves away from convention.”

Premiered here, the remix version brings the melodic and pondering original (released in September, 2023) to the peak-time realm, featuring a frenzied bassline and throbbing arpeggios seasoned with a naughty acid gait that paired perfectly with Maligna’s mesmerising vocals.

PREMIERE695 // Prince Terrible & Maligna Trash - Mano De Gloria (Roliva Remix)

NIKKNAME's focus when making music is to reflect the emotions he feels in response to his environment. He works across deep house, melancholic ambient and moody disco on labels like this one and Free ride Millenium and always evolves with each new outing. Now living in Vienna, he is a core part of the scene with his 80000 Radio show on Res Radio Vienna and has also been involved with some acclaimed art exhibitions in the city.

His return to Live At Robert Johnson kicks off with 'Wind & Fairies,' a moody five-minute synth suspense with sustained, foggy chords pierced only by twinkling arps and cautious strings that speak of heading off on an adventure into the unknown. The brilliant 'Rot' then layers up rugged and rumbling bass with bleeping synth sequences that make for a late-night trip through a deserted landscape. Last of all is the most direct and punchy cut 'Crossover'. It's a synth-laced disco and house fusion with crashing hits and smeared pads all journeying next to a searching cosmic lead.

NIKKNAME's Crossover EP lands on Live At Robert Johnson on December 13th 2024.
