Dina Summer, the collaborative band project between Kalipo and duo Local Suicide, invites you to indulge in the excess, glamour, and magic of the 80s with their new ‘Hide & Seek’ EP on Iptamenos Discos. Featuring a blend of new wave, dark disco and EBM fuelled techno, the EP embraces the nostalgic synth filled sound of the past whilst bringing a modern touch.

The title song 'Hide & Seek' - a soaring track which brings a sense of freedom. Shining and '80s reminiscent, it is a radiant and romantic love letter to disco balls, laser beams, smoke machines and hazy dreams. A blissful and invigorating spirit pulses through the song which elicits the feeling that you are floating up into the air, breaking through a sea of grey clouds to reveal the sunshine beyond.
The EP also features a club edit of 'Hide & Seek', which gives the track an entirely different feel. The same lyrics now have a newfound sense of urgency. It's darker and biting - a thrilling counterpart to the original version. 

Impassioned and electric from start to finish, "Hide & Seek" EP is an impressive addition to the Dina Summer and Iptamenos Discos catalogue. Releasing on February 23rd, 2024 it will be available on 12” vinyl and all digital & streaming platforms.

Straight out of Medellín, Colombia with a three track EP, we welcome Osccurate to Club Mackan! Relatively new to the scene, Osccurate left his 140 bpm Techno to embark on a more melodic journey. With Dansé Gótica you’ll find something that sounds familiar, yet fresh and new with the touch of his signature guitar sound. On this journey you’ll get to explore uncharted territory, something that we still don’t have a name for. 

To accompany us on this journey, we have three remixers. Two familiar faces, Dog.ma and Mundo D as well as a new face in the shape of Bizzarro Universe. These three remixers will help steer the course to perhaps somewhat more charted territory. Or in this case, dare I say timelines?

Dog.ma brings a synthier version to Dansé Gótica, setting the course to what seems to be the 80s. 

With Allnight, Mundo D seems to have set the course more towards the future. Somehow still with one foot firmly in the 80s in a very retro futuristic fashion. 

Bizzarro Universe course is a bit different though. Say hello to the late 90s early 00s. Cuarto Oscuro gets a very trancey makeover and we love it!

Seb El Zin, the french composer and multi-instrumentalist known for being a rule breaker in music with his progressive, psychedelic and highly non-4/4 band ITHAK, and hip-hop-free-noise collective ANARCHIST REPUBLIC OF BZZZ, makes his debut in the electronic music scene by entering the stage through a door he designed himself : an atypical uptempo production, driven and influenced by two decades of exposure to turkish music, and filled with original and idiosyncratic sounds that will enchant every listener. By marrying traditional ottoman patterns with prog-psy elements in a modern electronic music context, Seb El Zin has created his own language. We’re very happy to welcome on board Back From The Wave for the latest release on the year of our 20th anniversary. Three original cuts followed by a Jorkes remix.
Fred is not a newcomer, he started in electronic music 25 years ago. He made his debut in the early 2000s on two techno and electro French labels: Goodlife and Scandium. Both were an inspiration for us when we started Factor City in 2003. 
Back From The Wave is the most personal project of Fred, exploring and combining electro, techno, italo and Ebm. As he already showed on his excellent releases for Ritmo Fatale, Mélopée, Bordello A Parigi, Nein and here again on these exciting three tracks.
The Ep comes baked with an excellent Jorkes remix. The Vienna based producer and Freeride Millenium co-owner has delivered excellent records and remixes this year on Permanent Vacation, Aus and Live at Robert Johnson. Now on Factor City.
