Polaris is thrilled to welcome Belgian artist Rari. He offers us a dreamy, punchy EP with intense melodies, a truly immersive experience and French duo Damon & Vlys on remix duties, who provide us a powerful reinterpretation of the track 'In Your World'.

The voyage begins with 'In Your World', an electro-italo track reminiscent of Vitalic's heyday. Its beats are pure, dark and aggressive, while the shopped vocals that surround it blend perfectly with the kinetic pads. The UBRE BLANCA captains of our spacecraft were struck by a Black Lotus. We do not know its value, we know that they can be poisonous flowers or long-life serums. The only thing we know is that while we were close to it we heard hypnotic cosmic sounds that took us, for a few seconds, into another dimension. A strong electric shock passed through our body which still makes us dance on the command bridge.

Hey Cabrera!, Freudenthal (Pardon Moi) and saeuer join forces for the vibrant, 90s-inspired piano house anthem “Do It” with french 90s music aficionado Bubs on remix duties. 

The main track of the EP comes in two versions: one as a cheeky nod to 90s radio pop with playful hooks, the other as an extended dub built for the dancefloor. 

Catchy vocals, driving bass, uplifting piano stabs, and dancefloor euphoria collide in this high-energy future classic, blending saeuer’s Techno and House roots with Freudenthal’s Dark Disco touch as well as Hey Cabrera’s top-tier Italo Disco expertise. 


The Extended Dub opens with a choir reminiscent of ""Blue Monday,"" setting a hypnotic, dreamy atmosphere. As the track progresses, it transitions into an ecstatic euphoria, driven by a dazzling piano hook. Tailored for the dancefloor this combination promises to keep the crowd captivated and the floor moving.

Further echoing New Order, the Punk House Version drifts into an 80s Italo realm, layering a fuller arrangement with chorusing guitar and an airy vocal chant. The elevating bassline adds a subtle lift, giving this version a dreamy but still energetic feel while embracing the rich, melodic textures of classic Italo disco.

Bubs‘ take of the Punk House Version pushes into neo-Italo territory with synth sirens announcing its arrival before locking into the track’s catchy main melody. A massive snare and hitting toms drive the rhythm, keeping the energy high and the momentum sharp. Built for the dancefloor, this version dials up the intensity while staying true to its melodic core.

Spring has arrived with added fervour here at Darkroom Dubs HQ, as Parisien maestro Prinze delivers four jubilant tracks heralding his much-anticipated label debut. His 'We Are Free' EP is a bold clarion call to the dancefloor that gives a mischievous nod to early '90s UK progressive house and the halcyon days of acid and rave culture while fully embracing a defined and distinctively psychedelic sonic vision of the future.

2025 will undoubtedly continue to be an eventful year for Prinze as he duly prepares a fistful of cosmic missives for his own Epicure Records and remix collaborations with Rotten City head honcho Alvaro Cabana and Silicone Soul.
