Marseille based Frenchman @fredberthet -– also known as DJ Steef – is finally back on Cologne’s Feines Tier label after his vinyl EP Chaleur Spectrale in 2018 and an edit EP in 2020. His new Lost & Sound EP is a strong 6 tracker showing Fred’s love for house music with a special catch. 'Odes' is one of my all-time favourite albums and reworking any of the pieces from this record was something I wanted to do for a while. 'Rizes' is a piece that has sonically intriguing and psychedelic content. I could see taking it to a more rhythmically active direction and create something new that people would be able to enjoy on the dance-floors but still keep it respectful to the original.
