I run Creative Space, a small, underground live/DJ bar in Koenji called Oriental Force. Under the name Oriental Love, I aspire to create modern folk music, with a focus on electronic music.

I hope to create a space that is endlessly free, endlessly fun, endlessly intense and beautiful, and endlessly gentle.

I would be truly happy if we could work together to create new values ​​and share in a small but solid movement.

I'm primarily a guitar player but I'll try to make music with anything you throw at me. When left to my own devices I enjoy recording minimalist ambient pieces and textural soundscapes. My principal sound source for these efforts is manipulated guitar but I often include electronics and organic sources. I enjoy working on collaborations with other musicians. My (true) debut album is out under @galarem. This account is fun to revisit from time to time, but a lot of the stuff on here was from early high school. It's nice to keep it up, though.

Guitarist and composer John Reidar Holmes creates moody and dream-like ambient music. His particular sound is shaped using modular synthesizers and treated electric and acoustic guitars.

A bit about me:  I'm a composer who is inspired by, and enjoys working with a visual element, whether it be dance choreography or film clips.. My main influences are EDM, especially  Drum and Bass music, for which I like to integrate an orchestral sound.
