John Mooney aka Cyclic is from Leicester (UK) and has been involved with music since he was ten years old learning piano forte & music theory; throughout his early and late teens it was a natural progression to learn how to use drum machines, synthesizers and sequencers, whilst adding his own hip hop vocals to them. 

After being exposed to the following events 'Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, One Nation’ John was inspired to MC and adopted the name ‘Maveric MC’ and began performing at events in the UK and abroad. 

Fast forward to 2008, John decided to use his full potential and go back to his first passion - writing music. After experimenting with multiple genres, it was clear that drum and bass held his attention. The name ‘Cyclic’ was born simply through understanding the different musical chapters throughout his life - life cycles!!

The Cyclic sound is inspired by artists such as ‘Jean Michel Jarre, John Carpenter, Kraftwerk, Hans Zimmer, Bjork, and Good looking Records’    
Cyclic covers a spectrum of cinematic, progressive, dark rolling and intelligent drum and bass.

Being inspired from a young age by the ground breaking sound of the emerging uk hardcore scene, Braidee almosted instantly fell in love with the sound of Jungle as it slowly reached his ears. Following on from this braidee got hold of the liquid vibe and started to learn his craft by spending most of his youth chained to a set of ropy turntables. as the years passed he found himself appearing more regularly at local nights in his native Leicester befor eventually deciding to break away and set up his night, filtered>>. The creation of this led to braidee's sound becoming more wide spread and was regularly to be found supporting so top acts, such as london elecktricity, ltj bukem, utah jazz, high contrast, alix perez, to name but a few. Naturally Braidee decided to pick up the production baton in order to push his sound futher. Recent tunes have been receiving support from the likes of Fabio & DJ Marky. with lots of solo projects and collaborations in the pipes keep checking the soundcloud for more noises from the man. Also keep your eyes open for his Filtered>> club nights ran monthly in leicester, where you can expect to hear the finest in liquid and deep Drum and Bass
